Chapter 1
"Come on slow ass!" a very annoyed Gideon yelled to Bella who had her cheer bag, her bookbag, his book bag, his football bag and her purse. She had on a short mini cheerleading skirt and her tank top cheerleading top. Her white shoes looked brand new which she had worked so hard to do. Her hair pulled back into a high ponytail with small pieces framing her face. Even thought she was doing all the heavy lifting she still had a smile on her face.
"Damn, I love how you are supposed to be the quarter back and can't even carry your own damn bags." Bella threw the bags into the back of her car and sighed; she looked down at her at her apple watch seeing two messages coming in at the same time. Her two closest friends Valrie and Cressida had messaged
Where are you two, I would like to see my boo before school starts! Both messages read the same, Bella had tried to tell both of the girls that her brother was using them. Sadly, it always started a fight with both of them against her, at this point she just let them do whatever. She had her eyes on someone else, someone that acted like she didn't exist mainly because Gideon and his friends along with the girls on her squad.
Gideon answered his phone as it screamed another rap song. He answered it using his flirty voice "Hey Val, we are just about to leave. Can you believe Bella was being slow this morning. I mean she even woke up before me" Bella looked at him because yes, she was up early. But she fed the cats, laid out hamburger for supper, cooked breakfast and made lunches for their moms who went to work quickly after eating.
"No, we are taking her stupid ass car. The truck is still being worked on" Bella knew it was a lie. He had Cressida in there last night and forgot to check to make sure she didn't leave any surprise to be found by the other women. Plus, she had on a ton of perfume, and he was allowing his truck to air out. Bella got into her BMW and waited for him to get off the phone. Luckily, it didn't take long for him to hang up and get in.
"Dude, you need to answer your texts, I can't have them blowing up my phone all day" the guy growled making Bella roll her eyes "Or you know only fuck with one person at a time and you wouldn't have to worry about it." Bella had gotten tired of the back and forth and somehow having to be in his already cheating relationship.
Gideon didn't say anything while his sister drove but was texting. Bella knew better than to ask. Before long they pulled into the school parking lot seeing the West Wood Wolves sign hanging overhead on the school. "So stupid." she muttered opening the back of her car and getting out once she turned off her car putting her keys that were luckily on a bracelet on her wrist.
Gideon had rushed to get out to look like he had helped. While Bella looked around "Shoot" she sighed getting out fully and closing her door "What did you forget now?" Gideon huffed as if her forgetting something was inconvenience to him. "I forgot my water bottle on the kitchen table." Gideon laughed seeing Vance who was one of his friends "Sucks to suck" he said shoving her bags into her making her drop her purse and bookbag.
Bella wanted to scream as she watched him walk. "SuCkS tO sUck" she said mocking him as she heard her name "Bells you good?" Morgan said with Malachai was walking to her making him sigh "Rough morning?" Bella laughed huffing Morgan and nodded "The usual. But Hazel and mom had to work at the same time today so that sucked even more." Malachai smiled handing Bella her items "Thanks" Bella adjusted everything and sighed "I am so sleepy, I studied for the quiz today and understand 0. I even wrote in cute colors, like Val said to do, but nope. I think the colored pens would be better inside my brain."
The couple laughed then sighed "Hey, we still on for bowling tonight right then my house?" Morgan asked hopefully, "I honestly don't know, Bray has been acting so weird recently like he is scared to go outside or something." Malachai looked confused "The caramel color one that loves you" he smiled "My bad, I thought that was the white and orange one." Morgan shook her head "No, that is Art, or Artemis" Bella nodded to her friend "Damn lady, you have to many cats" the boy laughed as they walked towards the school "No, you just have shit memory, it's easy. All black is Hekate, black and grey is Shadow, Caramel is Bray, white and orange is Artemis, and the tortoise one or calico with the half black face and half orange and brown is Eclipse. See not hard"
Malachai shook his head "if you say so, but I will see you beauties later" he kissed Morgan waving at Bella as the two girls walked in "He seems to be in a good mood today." Morgan blushed and nodded "Well, I mean I guess he has a reason" Bella smiled hugging her friend tightly in the middle of the hall "That is awesome! I am guessing homerun?" Morgan punched Bella in the arm "Ouch! Be nice to me you have strength from lifting me" Morgan shook her head smiling "but yes"
"It's about time, what you met in 5th grade right?" Morgan went to punch Bella again, but she moved slamming right into a solid wall, or at least someone who felt like it. she looked up seeing the one guy in school that looked like he wanted her dead, at all times. Leo Nash. They had known each other since 1st grade, and he had pulled the head off her doll. She had never said anything or done anything to him that she knew of, but he looked like he absolutely hated her she knew her brother and the team was a dick to him, but most of the time she would step in to stop it and would get pushed to them she really didn't understand. "Sorry about that Leo" she knelt down picking up a book he had dropped. He looked at it as if it was diseased and backed away "Keep it." he snapped making her jump a bit, that was the most he had ever said to her in their time knowing each other.
"Uh, thanks" she said with a worried and faked smile and a positive thumbs up Morgan slapped her hand down playfully "You are so weird towards him." Bella looked taken back "Me? Me? I apologize then get a look like I have the black plague. I have never done anything to him." She went to walk away to be blocked by her brother "Can we talk...Good" before she could answer her arm was dragged down the hall "What the fuck Bells, you are talking to Leo Nerd Lord" Bella pushed her brother "That isn't his name, it is Leo but not the rest. Why?"
Gideon looked annoyed "Maybe because I have been trying to hook you up with Vance for a while now and you always turn him down, but you touch Nerd lord over there" Gideon pointed to the tall boy she had slammed into earlier. "Ew, god no. I would never go for Vance. He is a pig and so are you. I mean sharing girls. I could puke thinking about it." Bella went to walk away only for her bookbag to be pulled and for her to get pulled against a locker "Now you listen to me, Vance is a good guy. But I figured out I like Cressida, more. So, I need you to take over her spot." Bella looked shocked "What the fudgesicle did you just say to me!" Bella slapped her brother as everyone watched "I wish you went to live with dad, fucking jerk" She stormed away and to her locker, she put her items up and grabbing the books she needed.
While she dug through her bag she felt someone open her locker more, she looked over seeing Vance with a huge smile "Hey sweet..." he was cut off about to slap Bella's ass but she turned "If you touch my ass, I will cut your fucking hand off and strap it up your ass so each time you cough you fist fuck yourself." He looked shocked and put both of his hands up "I was just coming to talk." Bella put her bookbag inside after grabbing her notebook and pen "Cool, you talked fuck off" she slammed her locker going into English class and sat in her spot. She opened her notebook and began writing for the bell ringer.
