Summary

Lizzie has been in love with her best friend for years. The problem? Brandon has absolutely no idea. He’s the school’s star quarterback, the guy every girl wants, and the one person Lizzie has never been able to stop thinking about. They’ve grown up together, shared everything, and promised to be best friends forever. But forever gets complicated when friendship starts to feel like something much more dangerous. With graduation approaching, college threatening to pull them in different directions, and prom just around the corner, Lizzie decides she’s done waiting for life to happen to her. She wants to be kissed. She wants to fall in love. And more than anything, she wants Brandon to finally see her as something other than his childhood best friend. What Lizzie doesn’t know is that Brandon’s feelings are changing too. Jealousy is creeping in. Protectiveness is turning possessive. And every time another guy gets too close to Lizzie, Brandon is starting to realise something he should have figured out a long time ago. She has always been his girl. Maybe love was
