Chapter 1

The little girl was hiding her face with her hands. She was about 5 years old, fragile and tiny compared to the world. Still scared, she removed her hands and looked around. Stains of blood were all over her hands and dress her grandma bought her last week. She was surrounded by corpses, millions of corpses.

"Mommy?" she called out to her mother weakly, but no one replied. The little girl tried to walk through that ocean of corpses, but her short legs were too weak for that. Finally, she just collapsed over one of the corpses and licked the blood off of her lips, then closed her eyes and fell asleep.

The creature was staring at her from the top of the tree, cleaning its wings and licking the blood off of its claws. Its bloody red eyes were piercing the little girl as she struggled to stay alive. The beast snorted, streched its wings and went up in the air, then lowerwed down to the ground, but it didn't lend. It trapped the little girl between its claws and flied away.

The little girl opened her eyes and saw her home underneath her. As she looked up she saw a magnificent creature, more of an angel, that held her gently. The angel looked down to her with its friendly blue eyes and smiled.

"Where are you taking me, mister Angel?" the little girl mumbled. "I'm taking you home, I am your mommy, Jenna." the angel spoke.

At the same time, in the fields under them, one desperate mother was looking for her child.

"Jenna!" she yelled. "Jenna!" she was desperate.

She kept screaming and searching for her little girl when the man approached her.

"What happened, madam?" he asked politely.

"My little girl, she's gone," the mother cried.

"What is your name?" the man asked.

"Danielle," she replied as calm as she could.

"Dearest Danielle," the man continued. "I'm afraid that your little girl got a new mother," the man said and started checking his pockets.

"Wha-what do you mean?" Danielle asked, still trying to stay calm.

"It's a..." the man started, then stopped as he found his cigarettes in one of the many pockets his jacket had. "It's a monster, I saw it once before, when I was 12 I think. It's taking away children. It took away my best friend's little sister back then. He never saw her again, nobody saw her again," he finished and lit a cigarette.
