Eerie and Unsettling
"I enjoyed this. I feel like Sarah Johnson has a bigger story to be told. She's a compelling character, both creepy and unnerving. Even if she doesn't get her own novel, I would like to see more of her in the short. (**SPOILER ALERT**) It feels like there is a gap between where the boy goes missing and Sarah has him. I would like to see that interaction. Then, the fact that the police know where the boy is makes me believe that Sarah has been leaving behind breadcrumbs. I'd love to read that story."
Gripping short story.
"This is a gripping short story that will enthral anyone. I urge this writer onto bigger things as there is a style shown in this writing that when developed will be amazing. I look forward to more from this author."
Oh My...
"What even happened? One minute I was all, "Hey I relate to Sarah," and all of a sudden there's stuff happening that makes me go, "Wait_what?" Then there's the last paragraph and I say, "Oh My, what have my eyes just witnessed?" ( Don't mean that negatively) I love how the story in its very short life makes an impact and leaves something for us to chew on. The writing style is as harmless as you expect the main character to be and then BAM! You were wrong all along. The story in all its subtlety is a gem that I am glad to have come across."
Short and Sweet
"I love the authors description, she really paints a great visual of the villain. I actually think what was missing here is more. It can be expanded, and, if you're up for it, the story can go a lot darker. Really think this can be turned into something full length to give the character justice."
