Wow!!

"I have to say, this is one of the best books I've read on Inkitt. Your writing style is exceptional. The voice of the narrator cuts straight to your bones and chills you - great job! Also, the premise is very unique and creative. The satirical comments add humor to the novel. All in all, fantastic job! -Alexia Whitelock"

Amuzed

"Although this is not my 'preferred' genre, I gave this book a small whip. The progress of this story is a middle-pace. After this book, I have seriously considered which books I prefer. No joke. People tell me that all the time but I'm so jealous of people like you who can actually write. I applaud you. Nice character names, by the way. I love how the chapters change perspective between characters. all the love, A"

Creative

"The fact that every chapter has its focus on a certain person is very creative. Great idea. Your style is descriptive and artistic that it gives the story the depth it deserves. However, since every chapter is slightly different, then every chapter is supposed to have a different tone and character of voice. I could definitely feel that they are different people but I could still sense the constant voice of the author behind them. This is a great thing, but try to make the character's voice more prominent. The name is pretty amusing too so hats down for you. Also the category is thriller, although your usage of words matches the genre, the thrilling building up of events and suspense is slightly crooked. I respect the fact that you've completed such a piece of work! Thank you for the read xx"

Lots of potential.

"Okay, - good writing style, plenty of insight into characters, nice sense of drama, almost ethereal. I liked the shift of perspectives and the increased depth this provided. Almost poetic use of language. Maybe the different perspectives would benefit from a change of voice or tone. Perhaps the ethereal, internal kind of mood you develop is at the expense of a few details which would ground it - just something physical enough in the context to make the reader feel the grit of the street. I don't know. Worth a thought though. Occasionally too expositional. It may be a personal quirk and therefore not to be taken as a criticism but I like stories to unfold through very real, contextualised setting so the drama plays out directly to me. Again, may be worth a thought. I enjoyed reading this. It has potential."

Terror's Agony

"This could have been something akin to the 1998 movie "Fallen." However, that movie was based on recycling old stories, and was not very engaging. This work is even less so. In a full-length novel, this could have separated into peeks into the minds of the possessed as "it" moved among them. However, just as a character was introduced, and I started to gain some interest, it would fall back into a monologue. A monologue with less variety than The Book of Lamentations. In the repetitious monologue, we lose sight of the action, the characters, and any attempt at a plot. There is only one character in this, and it likes the sound of its own voice too much. What there is of this needs to be rewritten for grammar and punctuation, and trimmed severely to overcome the repetitious nature. I signed up with inkitt to be a helpful beta reader and find beta readers for my own work. I just can't cheer somebody on for producing work that any slush-pile dwelling junior editor would run away from."
