"Although A Scrunchie and Some Red Lipstick is a work in progress I think it has a good start. Although I don't quite understand the title which I'm sure the book will reveal later the plot to the story is interesting. The author's writing style is good as well as the author's technical writing skills. I look forward to learning what happens to the main character and how she deal with the abuse. Overall good start!"

"Realistically, a hospital worker would know the difference between abuse and actually falling down the stairs. Plus the odds that a bunch of teens are unsupervised all of the time is too much of a stretch. All in all, needs some more realism instead of what sounds like a constant repeat of an issue. Story has potential but is angling too hard at a damsel in distress type of scenario."
