River Cray, Small Estate Washing Lines
Night had fallen over River Cray. Michael was sat in the washing lines area of a small estate, just looking at the ground.
He was stressed due to all that has taken place through out the day and the last few months. This day alone was the worse day ever for him.
A voice started to speak to him as Michael continued to sit there.
Immortal Being: Now that you know some truths, what will you do boy?
Michael: He won’t get away with any of it. What he did with my brother and all the lies!
Immortal Being: If you want him to pay, we can do it together boy. We can make him pay!
Immortal Being: All you have to do is let me in, let me take your body as a vessel and we can teach Cyrus a lesson
Michael: No, nice try mate. Not going to happen
Michael: I will make my father pay with out your help, i may have some daddy issues. That doesn’t mean I’m going to let some demon take my body
The Immortal being suddenly jumped down from the top of the wall which surrounded the washing line area. He landed on the ground and stood there looking at Michael, with his wings on show.
Immortal Being: I’m no demon boy, I’m just one of the Angels that fathered some of those nephilim demons
Michael: Your- Your one of the fallen ones
Immortal Being: You know the story then, guess some still pay attention to the truth. Which means we are not doing a good enough job, wiping out all truth
Michael: What is that supposed to mean?
Immortal Being: You will find out eventuly boy, real soon (LAUGHS)
Cyrus: I should of known you be here, messing with his head as always
The Immortal being turned round to see Cyrus entering the washing lines. Michael looked up to see his father and then he had the look of anger and hate.
Immortal Being: Oh look Michael, it’s your dear old daddy. Took your time to find him Cyrus
Cyrus: Shut it you!
Immortal Being: Man you suck at being a father, you need one of those books for dummies
Cyrus: I SAID SHUT IT!
Cyrus approached Michael, walking over to him.
Michael: Stop!!!
Michael: Don’t come any closer. I mean it!
Cyrus stopped in his tracks, now looking concerned. He wasn’t sure how much the Immortal being and the serpent have poisoned Michael’s mind with lies and who knows what else.
Cyrus: Michael, please. I’m not the enemy, they are
Cyrus: What ever they have been telling you, it’s all just lies!
Cyrus: They are just using you, they want to use you for their agenda Michael
Michael: Everything you say, It’s all lies that they told me. All of it!
Cyrus: What did they tell you Michael, just tell me Michael
Michael sat there just looking at the ground, the look of anger still on his face.
Cyrus: Tell Me Michael, TELL ME NOW!
Michael looked up at his father and smirked. Soon he got up onto his feet and stood there looking at Cyrus with that same smirkey look.
Michael: Ok dad, let’s play it this way. You claim to be a man of truth, which means you will be totally honest
Cyrus: Honest about what Michael?
Michael: You told me that Jake was kidnapped by some enemy soldiers from one of the other nations on this earth. That’s what you told me
Michael: Only, that was a lie wasn’t it dad. He was never kidnapped
Cyrus knew at this point that Michael now knew the truth of what really happened to his older brother Jake.
Michael: Yes dad, I know what you did
Michael: How you trapped Jake in that machine on the island and left him there
Cyrus: I had no choice!
Michael: Really, really dad. Is that all your going to say, I had no choice
Michael: Of course you had a choice dad. The choice was don’t make such a stupid decision in life
Cyrus: It was for the good of the tribe
Michael: You what?
Michael: Trapping him in some machine that you, nor the rest of the tribe even had a clue of what it did. What it was for!
Michael: For all you know, it could be some DNA modification device or a deadly weapon that could wipe out entire cities or half the earth it’s self
Cyrus: That’s what he was hoping it would do, when he broke into the machine and started activating it. He was hoping it was a weapon so that he could wipe out the entire tribe Michael!
Cyrus: He was not Jake anymore, some thing dark was inside him. Had so much control over him, making him a threat!
Michael: And so you thought, I know. Let’s trap him inside the thing for the rest of his days, just leave him there to die
Cyrus: I didn’t want to, believe me. It hurt so much making that choice, it wasn’t easy
Michael: THEN WHY DO IT!!!
Cyrus: TO PROTECT THE REST OF THE TRIBE!
Michael: And so he suffers, he is left all alone in that thing to die. My brother!
Cyrus: It was for the good of many Michael. I had to keep everyone else and you, safe son
Michael wasn’t sure if anything Cyrus was saying was true or not. He’s mind crowded with the lies fed to him by the serpent and Immortal being.
Michael: How do I know that you are telling the truth?
Cyrus: You always used to be able to tell, you were good at telling truth from a fib when you were just a kid son
Michael: This is different, I just-
Cyrus: What?
Michael: I just don’t know if I trust you anymore dad. I don’t trust any of the tribe
Cyrus: But yet you trust him, one of the fallen
Michael: No, but at least he has been honest with me
Cyrus: Wow! Michael, he told you one truthful thing
Michael: So your saying everything else is just lies. Including how you trapped your father and older brother in the pit of prison island
Cyrus: Yes I did, along with their army of fallen members. They attacked our homes and killed many, including your other grandfather
Cyrus: They were trying to take over shadow island, which they did for a short time
Cyrus: We won the fight though, and we trapped my father and brother into that pit along with what remained of their lousy army
Michael: So he told me two truths then, didn’t he. You did trap them in the pit
Cyrus: He didn’t tell you why though, did he. He just made me out to be some evil uncaring monster
Cyrus: The very thing he is and the one he follows
Immortal Being: Now, now Cyrus. No need for insults, I been kind to you so far
Cyrus was so desperate to get Michael away from the enemy, he didn’t want to loose another son to the darkness.
Cyrus: Michael, please. Let’s just return home to shadow island and we can sort things out there
Michael: No, no I don’t want to go anywhere with you!
Cyrus: Why, I’m not the enemy here. He is!
Michael: Your all the same, all just a bunch of liars and users. All dictating my life, not letting me decide what I want!
Cyrus: I’ve always been there for you son, when ever you need me
Cyrus: Always been there to help, to listen and guide you
Michael: I just want people to let me make the decisions of what I want in life, for people to stop dictating my life and deciding things for me
Cyrus: What do you want son, I care about your happiness and I want you to go for what you want in life. I also care about your life, and want to keep you safe away from him
Cyrus: You can have so much freedom doing what ever it is you want, but we have to get you away from those that serve the serpent
Cyrus: Their all wanting to use you, please son
Michael: I’m not going with you dad, I’m going my own path. I know what it is I want and I will have it!
Michael began to walk off, when suddenly Cyrus grabbed hold of him to pull him back and Michael then turned around and punched Cyrus in the face so hard that it knocked Cyrus to the ground.
Michael: Don’t Touch Me!
Michael: You do not have permission or the right to do so. IS THAT CLEAR!
Cyrus was still on the ground, his nose all bloody after being punched by Michael.
Michael came walking over to Cyrus and he knelt down to him, looking directly at his dad. Cyrus was fearful of what Michael was going to do to him.
Cyrus: Please, stop this Michael. I don’t want to fight
Michael: Who said anything about fighting dad, it’s simple. Leave me alone and let me go my way and do what I want to do
Michael: I need my space and I need to be rid of the lot of you
Michael soon stood back onto his feet and took one last look at his dad before turning and walking off. He exited the washing lines area, turning the corner and walking off through the estate.
Cyrus started getting up off the ground so as to go after Michael, suddenly the Immortal Being came over to him quickly and grabbed hold of him by his hair.
Immortal Being: No, I don’t think so Cyrus. Face it, your loosing another son to us
Immortal Being: And boy are we going to have so much fun using him for our work, our agenda
The Immortal being laughed away and then knocked Cyrus back down onto the ground then punched him so hard that he knocked Cyrus out cold.
Immortal Being: Night, night Cyrus. Don’t let the boogie man get you in those nightmares of yours (LAUGHS)
Serpent: SEARCH FOR MICHAEL, WE MUST NOT LOOSE HIM IMMORTAL. HE WILL BE YOUR VESSAL. SSSSssssssss
Serpent: FIND HIM NOW!!! SSSsssssssss
Immortal Being: Yes my master. As you command
The Immortal Being laughed once more at Cyrus who was laid out cold on the ground. The Immortal Being turned and exited the washing lines area, heading off to find Michael.
It was time to work hard to get into Michaels head so as to convince him to let him in.
One year Later. Cyrus was out in the open fields near the river front of Shadow Island. He was thinking back to the events that unfolded a year ago. Which led to Michael being taken as a vessal by the Immortal being. All ways haunting him day and night.
