Thorn and a Rose
"Excellent sequel. It was a mix of 50 Shades of Grey, Criminal Minds and family stories. Master Buttercup was made more human in the sequel which is good. The truth behind Rose's dad was expected with the way the Master was talking about him. Only thing I would recommend is maybe more of an aftermath of the bloodbath towards the end. The writer has a huge climatic rescue mission with the bad guys paying for it but then just moves on like nothing happened. Maybe a few chapters where the reader sees a court battle or a news press being released about the politician and police leader being caught trying to commit crimes knowing what they were doing was wrong. Besides that, excellent sequel."

Outstanding story
"This was exquisite! A very easy to read story with 3 books telling the whole tale of Master and Rose and many other delightful characters. It makes you hate the Master but love him at the same time. He changed everyone that was involved in his life for the better and became a better person because of it. Although it seems his morals are wrong at first he proves that his style of discipline and dealing with damaged persons is the correct way to go. I truly loved this story and would tell others to invest their time into giving this story a chance. You will not be disappointed!!"

"I couldn't even get through the first chapter. For starters, you don't set the scene in the first paragraph. You tell the reader that the main character is stepping out of a house and into a limousine and that's it. I want to know more about what the area looks like. In addition, when you're describing the chauffeur, you say "He was wearing this smart chauffeur's uniform with a grey suit and cap and stuff but..." what is this "stuff" you're referring to? Finally, I was completely lost when the chauffeur says, "Well spotted. Now, get in the car, love or Buttercup - and if I know him, he'll have you calling him 'Master' - has promised to tell me all about your 'hypocritical unhealthy interest,'" That in itself is a mouthful. I couldn't understand any part of that which left me confused throughout the rest of the chapter even when I looked up some phrases that I didn't understand."
