Ghost of The Living

Ghosts are real, Thomas has told himself and everyone else this since the first day of middle school when he saw a woman with blood coming out of her mouth in his room then it just disappeared. Since then he has been bullied by everyone in his school for seeing ghosts, the last bell rings through the school and everyone floods the halls.

Thomas leaves last in the class and once he goes in the hallway hell brakes loose, Hey Thomas have you seen Casper lately? Where's the ghosts now Thomas? Hahah!" all the kids he past would throw jokes at him like that everyday, "Today Im doing it, it'll all be over soon." Thomas just laughed and smiled as he got on his bike on the way home.

As he went he passed the store and a dairy queen and came across the bridge that he had to pass everyday but instead of continuing he stopped and got off his bike he steped up on the railing and looked down it was a good thirty or fourty foot drop.

Thomas turned around and leaned back and fell off the bridge he looked at the ground coming toward him as time seemingly felt like it was in slow motion, "So I finally did it I'm gonna actually die, well I guess I just had a bad run is all I wonder what my next life will bring me? If there is one at least." and as the rocks and concrete get close Thomas closes his eyes and waits and waits but he feels nothing.

"Wait what?" Thomas thinks and opens his eyes and see's he is hovering just above the ground. Thomas looks around and see's that he isn't moving then suddenly he starts going back up "Hey what's going on?!" Thomas yells as he goes above the bridge and into the clouds and as he goes up he see's a vortex.

The vortex is pulsing and through it he can see a familiar looking bedroom as he looks he rubs his eyes then suddenly he's in bed looking at a woman with blood coming out of her mouth, but instead of vanishing she points at a sticker on his wall that says oh snap Thomas looks back to her and she's gone "What the hell kind of fever dream is this?" Thomas says to himself and as he talks he hears his voice more higher pitched he jumps up and looks at the mirror in his room.

He see's himself normal as ever just a normal highschooler, but when he looks down he see's his body is shorter and so is his hands and feet everything is shorter, "No way." Thomas looks back at the sticker then looks down at his hand then he snaps suddenly he see's everything brighter and he can hear and see through walls "What's going on?" as he looks around he then see's the woman standing in his room but this time she dosen't have blood on her actually she's kinda hot.

"Hello? Can you hear me?" The woman asks waving at Thomas, "H-Hello?" Thomas says waving back, "It worked yay yay it actually worked!" the woman hugs and picka Thomas up and Thomas just lets her too stunned to say anything, "You must have so many questions, let me start off my name is Gracie I am a spirit that has cursed you!" she says with a smile, "Wait come again?" Gracie giggles "I cursed you, the curse is called Ghost of the living, Im the only one who can do it and I did yay!"

"Slow down slow down." Thomas sits down on his bed and thinks "Let me be more specific, I put a curse on you when you were this age, the curse is when you are about to die you are saved but you are brought back to when the curse was placed on you, and once that happens you can transform back and forth from your previous lifes form as a spirit or ghost and your present life as a human all with just a snap!"

Thomas looks down at the ground and smiles, "And nobody can see me while Im in ghost form?" Gracie sits beside him, "Only people who don't belive in ghosts can see you whether your on camra or not, you can also see and talk to spirits like me because you can talk within the white noise, the static sound that you humans have." Thomas looks up and smiles "And do I have powers like moving things with energy and throwing things?" Gracie flys up and spins "All that and more, but you have to have enough energy for it."

Thomas celebrates quietly then thanks Gracie turns out Gracie is locked to this house and cant get out so she has become Thomas's new friend they both talked a bit more before Thomas snapped his fingers then went to sleep thinking to himself "Ghosts are real and I'm one of them!" then he drifted off to sleep
