Overjoyed
"I can’t express the joy I felt at finding To Live Again on Inkitt. This is one of my favourite fanfictions ever written and a reason why I was reluctant to leave Wattpad. CJ has a gorgeous writing style and her tale enriches and gives depth to the characters and the world we have come to love so much. She also introduces a lot of lovely new characters who I have grown to love as much as Tolkien’s characters. I am ecstatic to start my fourth reread of this novel. Thank you for the wonderful story you have written. "
Love and Heartbreak in Mirkwood
"A beautiful tale about the possibility of second chances and about how love can be found in the most unlikely of places. The story of Clara from our world and Thranduil, the young prince of Eryn Galen, is as heartwarming as it is charming. Especially young Legolas has captured my heart! A must-read for any fan of romantic stories set in Tolkien's epic world of Middle-earth. The writing is quirky and entertaining and makes it easy for the reader to immerse oneself in the story. We get to know a vast array of characters and discover both a new and familiar world alongside Clara...and we can fall in love again with Thranduil, the sexiest elf ever to walk Arda."

"I first read "To Live Again" on fanfiction.net, and now finding it here on Inkitt reminded me of how much I love this story. I was blown away by the details and passion that CJ_Wunderkind put into writing this story. I can't even imagine how much time it must have taken, but the love for this story can be felt through the words. I was hesitant at first to read "To Live Again", thinking that it was the typical modern-girl sent to Middle Earth type of story; I was pleasant proven wrong, and I couldn't stop reading. CJ_Wunderkind beautifully portrayed the blossoming romance between Thranduil and Clara, and Clara's character development from starting out as a normal, but lost woman in a new world to a majestic and loving queen. Not just anyone could accomplish such a rewarding task. Thanks so much for sharing your imagination and talent with us!"
Unique and beautiful
"It is very hard to come across well-written Tolkien fan fiction by authors who are familiar enough with the books to honour not only the creator of the wonderful world called Middle Earth, but also the characters living in it. This story is one of those rare finds. What sets it apart from others is that it was written not only to tell another tale based on Tolkien's books and Peter Jackson's movieverse. It's a skillfully woven crossover between two universes; our present-day world and Middle Earth with a meaning the author elaborates on in her epilogue. I was sceptical at first, but became quickly immersed in the story. I particularly loved the portrayal of Thranduil and Oropher, which is an incredibly difficult task, since the Elvenking is such a complex character, and we know very little about his father. Both of them are lovingly depicted in so much detail that they literally come alive before your inner eye. I started to feel for the characters, and to perceive their world including their fears and hopes, joy and suffering through their very eyes. At the end of the last chapter I felt sad that it was over, I am not holding my breath for a sequel, but I'll keep my fingers crossed nonetheless, In the meantime, I'll go back to chapter 1 and read it all over again."
To live again, loved it!
"It took some time for me to finsih this story, and usually I am a fast reader, but I did not want to miss anything of the story! It kept me on edge a lot (and I held my breath a lot, haha), but it is such wonderful work! I loved reading it, and I will certainly later reread it, because it is really great! I did not notice much punctuation, or grammar mistakes because I was so caught up in the story, and when I did I did not think too much about it, because it is easy to make some few mistakes when writing such big work (at least in my opinion). I really loved the story, and I can only say: Keep writing! :D"
This story is pure magic
"Everyone in there right mind should read this story, it is absolutely riveting, motivational, endearing, hopeful, funny, and once you start reading it is impossible to stop! Don't miss out on this story, you won't regret it. beachchick3"
To Live Again
"Ah. To Live Again, what can I say? I don't think I could string up enough words to describe my love for this story. It is unique as it is, and the writing is just perfect! The way the author describes an emotion, a scene and even a simple movement like smiling, deserves praise! It's engaging right from the beginning and at some moments, you actually forget how to breathe! I'm not even Kidding! Fan of a certain Elven King? Then I definitely- DEFINITELY, recommend this story."
To Live Again
""To Live Again" is a well crafted, highly engaging, heart vibrating tale surrounding our favorite Elven King. The author will keep you engrossed until the very end and by that time you will feel so strongly for Clara and the other characters that you will never want it to end...like ever. Thranduil is portrayed beautifully and in so much vivid detail that you will be able to imagine the story unfold right before you. I am so glad I was able to find such an amazing gem!"
Magical and Heart-Warming
"To Live Again is an absolute treat to read from the very beginning of a beautifully drawn relationship with the canon characters and the main OC, Clara. This story has all of my favorite things--great depth, humor, sweetness, and thoughtfully written scenes and a warmth of spirit that will keep you looking forward to the next chapter. It's a must read for anyone who is a fan of the Mirkwood royal family."
writing skill
"I really liked your (To live Again) story and I want to know whats going to happen in the upcoming chapters. I also want to know if you're working on any new stories and if so, what kind of story it’s going to be. And can you suggest another story similar to this one for me to read? I'm truly enjoying reading your stories!"
Amazing!
"This was such a wonderful story to get lost in. It brought you into middle earth and it was a unique way to look at things when it comes to death."
