“Fights huh”

I started to walk home from school it's been a really long day for me not only where my classes terrible but I got detention but I'm not going. When I got home I did my routine check to see if my mom was at my house again!

Thankfully she wasn't, she is a drunk who can't take care of her kids. I walked outside and walked to pick up the three kids I call siblings as I walked, I thought about my life. It was a pretty dark and sad walk cause that's how my life is, it sucks I kept walking through. When I got to their school I wait outside for them I didn't wait long cause sure enough Alice, Derrick, and Mason came running out of the building.

“MOMMY-NIKKY” they yelled in unison running towards me engulfing me in a hug. “Hey, you three what's up,” I said not really expecting them to answer “well tired,” Mason said. I chuckled a little and started walking and signaling to come with me. We walked halfway home then Alice asked what was for dinner “I don't know yet” I said.

Yeah I know it's sad I don't know what to feed them but I'll find something “okay Mommy,” Alice said. I don't know why they always call me mommy-Nikky like I know they don't know their birth mom which it's sad but I have told them I'm their sister and my name is Nikky, but I don't mind. My mom made it Nikky with a, Y, yeah weird right, whatever. We get home and they go to their room to do their homework while I cooked dinner. They sadly share room money is tight I work but it's not a real job.

-------------- 1 Hour later

“ALICE, DERRICK, MASON!” I yelled from the kitchen I hear feet running across the floor, a little yelling, someone falling, and a loud bang. “Hey!” I yelled, the yelling stopped and they came downstairs.

“Alice pushed Derrick I don't know why,” Mason said this caused an argument amongst the three of them. “No he pulled my hair and you saw Mason don't lie for him!” Alice yelled point at Derrick. These three are too much for me I thought not caring that they were still yelling at each other at the moment. “Alice is lying she just pushed me for no reason!” Derrick said waving his hands in the air. I decided to end the little argument “hey just say sorry so we can eat, Or I'll eat all the food” I teased.

“Hey?!” they said in unison looking at me in shock as if they believed me. “Say you're sorry,” I said with more author this time they all said sorry and hugged even though I said nothing about hugging. “Okay let's eat,” I said walking to the table and put our dinner on the plates. Dinner was small just mashed potatoes, baked chicken, and corn what can I say I have to make do with what I got.

------- After dinner

I cleaned up after dinner while they were getting ready for bed. After I was done with cleaning up I tucked them in kissed them goodnight knowing they'd be out like a light. As soon as I walked out of there room I got changed into all black. I put on an old black t-shirt, black hoodie, black ripped jeans, and black Vans. I put my longish brown hair in a high ponytail put on my mask and fingerless gloves and grabbed my backpack and phone. I opened my window snuck out jumping in my also, black Honda speeding off.

--------------little later

I was outside of my best friend Kaylee's house for what felt like forever till there was a knock on my window. I unlocked the door “hey what took so long huh?” I said, raising an eyebrow at her “my Mom was taking so long to go to sleep,” she stated. I feel for Kaylee's mom she's a single black Mom.

Her and her now Ex husband just got divorced a little over a year ago and it hasn't been easy. “Oh ok well the three musketeers are out like a light so we got time to make big money for at least a month maybe?” I said starting the car up again ready to pick up Lizzie. “Alright let's go make some money,” Kaylee said rubbing her hands together.

We pulled up to Lizzie's house to see her outside with her “boyfriend” smoking a cigarette. I honked the horn, telling her to come on she got the message kissed her boyfriend bye and got in the car. “Hey Y'all who missed me?” she questioned us “hmmm not me, maybe Kaylee?” I teased starting to driving again. “Nah, not really,” Kaylee said laughing a little “hey Y'all know you love me,” she said from the backseat. “True,” Me and Kaylee said in unison laughing

---------After the drive

We arrived at the rundown bar, parked in back we walked in through the back door. When we walked in the smell of vodka and weed hit our noses as we made are to the basement. We were about to walk downstairs when we were stopped by some guy in a tight light grey muscle shirt. “Hey you little girls don't belong here” he spat at us making me pissed so I kicked him in the balls and walked downstairs.

“Girl why does that always happen to us, like I've seen loads of girls here!?” Lizzie asked angrily at the guy. “I don't know but let's start this round of fights for us ok,” I said walking over to the announcer.

We looked at the list and not to bad five fights but I up against a random great.

“Hey heard you got a random sucks man you ain't getting much money tonight,” Lacey said with a smirk. I rolled my eyes she thinks she's all that cause she always gets big money every fight she's in. “Liz you got Missy man can't wait, I hear you and her still beefing about the whole jumping and shit?!”.

I said laughing a little recalling how it all started with an unfair fight “yeah can't believe this she doesn't fight fair because she can't really win by herself”. I nodded in agreement walking down the hallway to change into my black boxing shorts taking my hoodie off throwing it in my bag I came out Kaylee's match was about to start.

------- 2 hours later

Kaylee's fight took an hour they both got good hits in but my girl Lee came out victorious by pulling the girls leg high up on her back forcing her to tap out. The next three were just knocked outs or tap outs Liz was so close to tapping till the Missy lost her grip on her leg and got kicked in the face she deserved it. They were cleaning up the ring up a little for us so we don't slip on blood, spit, sweat, or water.

“Ladies and gentlemen this next fight is a random versus Nik meaning we select a random opponent,” the announcer said. The crowd was silent and anxious to find out who I was fighting it's not really different from a regular fight just they pick a random person last minute.

“We have picked drum roll please….” loud banging crowd cheering “Miss. Lacey v.s. the one and only short fighter Nik!” the announcer yells jackass I thought, he didn't need to say that about me. I get in the ring I know Lacey was looking at me, I don't care though. “Okay, Y'all know the rules first to get knocked out or tap out losses winner gets all the money-loser gets nothing but a good beating”.

The announcer walked out the ring yelling at the crowd hyping them up he yelled fight and Lacey ran straight to me. “You don't know how long I've wanted to punch you in the face make you bleed” Lacey yelled. She aimed for my face but missed “okay that's weird but whatever” I said. I grabbed her arm twisting it behind her back pushing her forward to fall on her front.

“YOU GONNA TAP OR WHAT!!!” I yelled she kicked my leg catching me off guard making me stumble backward she took this opportunity to crawl over to me and punch me in the face multiple times. I caught her fist pushed her off of me slamming her into the mat she yelled in pain I punched her I picked her up and slammed her back down.

There was blood everywhere from me and her, they gave her 10 seconds to get up and continue to fight when she didn't get up the fight ended. After the announcer came out and announced me as the winner and gave me my money they helped her out of the ring. As I got out of the ring I felt someone looking at me so I turned around and saw jade green eyes. After what felt like hours I turned away walked down the hallway to change.

-----2 minutes later

I came back out to the main ring waiting for Kaylee to come back from the bathroom “so you must be really strong or on steroids” a deep husky voice said. The voice caused me to jump a little “w-what” I said turning to see a man tall, longish brown curly hair, and those Jade green, bluish eyes.

“I said you beat that girl senseless,” he said smirking rubbing his chin “oh yeah she's a cocky bitch and doesn't need the money unlike me and my friends do,” I said nonchalantly. He made small talk till finally, Kaylee showed up “hey let's go gotta take you and Lizzie home!” I yelled.

I turned to the man “Um hey nice meeting you sir but umm I gotta go” I said “my name is Harry” the man said before I walked away I nodded not really listening oh well. When we were all in the car we got really excited and drove home. Some fight huh.
