Dinner Party?(chapter 1)
I walked over to my mailbox to notice an..... envelope? Anyways I grab it out and close the mailbox. I turn around without taking my eyes off the envelope.
Once I walked in my house I open the envelope to find a letter in it for me. It read.
"You have been invited to a dinner party at my new mansion.Please dress nicely and formal. Please be there at 6:30. I would love to see you there and others. Hope you can make it please come to this address"
I look at the address. I was kinda confused why I was invited but there where going to be more people. I was kinda glad I wasn't the only one going to be there. I was kinda wondering who was going to be there.
I then ran to my room to get dressed formal because that's what the letter said I guess? I didn't try to question it to much and focus on picking a outfit. I was struggling to find the perfect outfit.
"Okay something formal for a dinner party?" I said to my self. "That's already hard enough since I've never been to a Dinner party."
After what felt like hours I was finally ready. I go to see what time it is when I realized I took 3 hours to get ready.
"It's already 5:50!?!?" I shouted. I ran to the dinner table to grab my keys run into the car and start driving to the address that was said on the letter.
'Damn already being late to my FIRST dinner party!' I say yelling at my self in my head while keeping in eye on the road.
It was 6:20 when I finally made it there so I pulled up in the driveway noticing quite a lot of cars there as well. I park my car and get out when I suddenly hear my name being called from...behind?
I turn around to realize a familiar face I thought I wouldn't see here. "Haylee!?" I shouted, "What are you doing here!?"
"Hey, quite it down kylie" she responded, "We'll I was invited to a Dinner party at this exact address, anyways what about you?" She asked.
"Well the same thing to me I was invited to the same address for a Dinner party" I respond.
"Oh, well what a surprise!" She said, "So should we go in I'm kinda freezing out here ya know!"
"Yeah sure, it is quite chilly out here" I said. She looked at me and nodded and we walked up to the porch.
"This is quite a huge house" she said.
"I know right?" As I look at her. Haylee has blond hair and bright blue eyes she's just a couple inches smaller than me.
We've know each other from middle school and became besties. We still are to this day, we where supposed to hang out but we cancelled it not knowing we both where going to the same place.
I then knock at the door *knock*knock.* the door slams wide open letting cool air into mine and Haylee''s face. We see a guy about a couple inches taller than me at the door way.
"Oh" he said.

Hey! I feel like this story is better so I might work on this one instead of "Who are you." I just have a lot of ideas for this story. Once I'm like half way in this I might start other stories. I could use some ideas though! Anyways hope you enjoyed the first chapter of "The Haunted Masion" Anyways I'll try updating as soon as possible.
