Prologue
Alright, so Persona 5 is one of my favorite games I’ve ever played. I put so many hours into the game (204 Hours) and that entire time I loved it.
That experience is one I’ll never forget.
So why am I making a story about Persona 5? Well, I just want to make one about it. Not for me, but for the people who never even played it.
I’ll add tracks to listen to while reading the following paragraphs. It’s to give you a sense of realism. If you’re going to play them I suggest downloading SoundCloud. From there you can listen to music even though the app is closed. Perfect for playing music while reading this story.
Persona 5 is rated M for mature audiences. This is for blood, drug reference, partial nudity, sexual themes, strong language, and violence. So be aware that this will show up in the story. I don’t know if all of it will show but you have been warned.
So without further delay let’s start this long story.

Chapter 0: Prologue
This story is a work of fiction.
Similarities between characters or events to persons living or dead in your world are purely coincidental.
Only those who have agreed to the above have the privilege to partake in this story.

The world is not as it should be.

Casino
It was late at night and the city was alive. The ocean was reflecting the light of the moon making it look like it was sparkling. Many people were either driving home or having a fun time in shops.
In this city, the Casino was the main attraction for people to visit. They would test their luck to see if they are out a winner or a loser. They never knew where fate would lead them.
The Casino was a huge building with three floors. The main one was at the bottom where all the games were. The higher floors also had games, but those were for people with higher passes. They would get better stuff than those who just want to play games at the bottom.
The water in the ocean rustled as a white helicopter passed by. The white helicopter was heading towards the Casino. It had received a call that an important item from the Casino was being stolen. As the white helicopter got closer to the Casino the people inside were beginning to realize what was happening.
Inside the Casino
Persona 5 OST- 03- Escape
Inside the alarm was going off and people began to get worried. They didn’t know why it was going off. Some people began pushing to get out because of the large crowd in the Casino. While some were beginning to leave others were staying where they were.
Then a noise from somewhere was made. It sounded like someone jumped and landed. The sound came from above and people began looking around for the source of the sound. There were platforms above the area so that people could come and fix the lights. The people kept hearing the sounds but still couldn’t find the source.
“Is something here?” a middle-aged man asked from the crowd of people.
The crowd saw the doors opening and security were walking into the room. The security was looking around for something.
A loud sound was heard and the people and security looked at where the sound came from. On top of the platform holding one of the lights, they saw someone holding onto one of the cables.
The figure looked like a young man due to his healthy-looking white skin. The young man was wearing a white mask with black around the eyes to cover his face. The mask had a little bit pointing outward. Through the mask, you could see his eyes were black. His hair was black and his outfit and boots were also black. Inside his outfit, he was wearing gray with a lot of buttons on the outside. He was wearing red gloves and his left hand was holding a white briefcase.
The young man looked at the people who were shocked at the sight of him. The security began calling for backup to apprehend this guy. The other security with him began pushing people out of the way to chase after this guy.
The young man gave a smile to the people and the security. He turned back and jumped to another platform with purple lights on the edge. It was in the shape of a hexagon.
Persona 5 OST 04 - Life Will Change
“Good. Now get running!” The voice sounded boyish and it was coming from the young man’s ear comm.
“This is our only chance!” said a Boy’s voice coming from the ear comm.
“Stay calm! You can get away now!” said a Girl’s voice coming from the ear comm.
“We’ll retrieve the briefcase on our end,” said another Girl’s voice.
“Roger that guys,” replied the young man.
“...suspects...not...confirmed...hold...your...positions…” It was a transmission from one of the security.
“Hm…? What was that…?” asked a Girl’s voice from the comm.
“Don’t worry about us. Just concentrate on getting away,” said the Boyish voice.
The young man began to get on the move and jumped to another platform. This one was longer and had purple lights at the ends.
“But I have to say, showing yourself above that crowd earlier was an excellent move,” said the boyish voice, as the young man landed on the platform. “Nice work as always Joker.”
The young man supposedly named Joker ran across the platform and jumped to another one. This one was a circle that was in the middle of the room. He dashed to the edge of the platform and jumped on a sign that was close. The sign was showing orange colors and had little platforms big enough for a human. Joker looked around for another platform and saw one close by and jumped to it.
“I bet Skull wouldn’t pull it off that smoothly,” said a Girl’s voice.
Joker landed and the platform wobbled a bit. Joker stood still to not trip or fall off the platform.
“This happens because you have no sense for anesthetics,” said a Boy’s voice. The voice sounded formal.
Joker began to run across the platform onto another one above it. He grabbed the ledge and with his force got onto the platform.
“Nobody asked you, Inari!” said a Boy’s voice sounding mad.
“There he is!” yelled security.
Joker looked to his left and right. Security was on each side of him. They were near the doors that were close to the platforms.
“Just run! Get out of there!” said a Girl’s voice.
Joker looked straight ahead and there were five jumps in a row in front of him. He saw they lead to a part of the higher level in the main room. Joker walked back and ran towards the first jump.
“Okay, the enemy’s focus is on him. Looks like the rest of us can slip away,” said the Boyish voice, as Joker landed on the first platform.
“Everyone remember where we’re meeting up?” asked a Girl.
“No worries, I can guide you all,” replied another Girl, as Joker made it to the final platform.
Joker jumped to the higher level and security appeared in front of him.
“Stop right there!” yelled one of them. Joker saw as both of them changed. They both got turned black and had received blue masks on their faces. Another one appeared behind Joker. Joker looked back at the security.
“Take ‘em down, Joker!” yelled a Girl. Joker grinned and then jumped on top of the security in the back of him.
Joker landed on his back and began to pull off the mask. Once Joker was successful he got off of him.
The guard disintegrated and transformed into something else. The security transformed into a metal creature standing on two legs. It had the angry face of a bull with two long horns on its head. The creature had a metal tail and bull hooves.
“Comparing power levels,” said a Girl. “No threat. Get ‘em Joker!”
Joker rushed at the creature and began to cut him with his knife. Joker hid this in his clothes. However, Joker didn’t just finish there he rolled back and shot the creature with his gun.
Critical.
The creature knelt down on one knee as the shot landed in his body. Joker stood up and got his gun and fired eight bullets into the creature. The creature with all his might stood up the best he could. The creature screamed and something formed under Joker. Fire rose up and hit Joker’s entire body. When it settled Joker was burned but only on his clothes and some got to his skin.
“Eigaon!” Joker yelled. A dark figure rose from Joker and swiped his fingers on the floor. Something dark began to climb onto the creature. It covered his entire body and killed him in one strike.
“Good. You defeated them with ease,” said the Boyish voice.
“(Some of my clothes got burnt,)” thought Joker, looking at his clothes.
“More of them! Be careful!” said a Girl. Joker saw three more security appear right in front of him.
The closest one to him tried to hit Joker with his nightstick, which had electricity running through it. Joker evaded it by doing a backflip. Joker jumped onto higher ground and ran away from the security.
Joker ran and stopped in front of a door leading to somewhere. Joker went in and walked up the stairs near the door.
Joker was in a room with pipes and cages that were blocking the pipes. He was inside one of the main areas to make the Casino run.
“You should be able to get out by going on the door to your left,” said a Girl. Joker followed her directions and walked forward looking for the door. Joker saw the door and opened it. There were stairs leading down and Joker went down the stairs, and he saw a door to his right.
Joker opened the door slowly and saw glass window’s on the other side. Joker was about to go through when a security appeared in one of the glass windows.
“Where’d they go!? Damn it!” said the security. “I can’t confirm the intruder’s location.” The security ran off to check on another place. Joker was hiding behind the door, and once he saw the man leave he began to go back on the move. He kept going only to see another security in front of him.
Joker quickly hid behind a cart. There were other carts in the tiny room he was in, and the security was blocking the door. Silently Joker hid from cart to cart till he got to the door.
“...Hey, are you sure he came in this way?” asked the security. “Understood. I will continue the search!” The security ran back to where Joker came from and didn’t see Joker hiding.
“Now’s your chance!” exclaimed a Girl. “Run for the stairs!”
Joker got out of hiding and ran out of the room. He found the stairs leading up and went on them.
Persona 5 OST - 05 - Run Away~Arrest
Once Joker got to bottom he looked over the corner of the wall to see if someone was there. Nobody was there so Joker ran in the hallway. He stopped at the edge of a long glass window. Joker looked inside to see many people on computers and some were staring at cameras.
Joker saw no one was looking at ran pass them. Three security was running downstairs, and Joker was running upstairs. Two of the security ran past the large glass window. One of them noticed Joker running up the stairs and told the other security. The three of them chased after Joker.
Joker reached the top of the stairs and went into a hallway. There was only one door to the right of him and he went through it. Joker was at the top of the center of the bottom room. There was a little wall to prevent people from falling. There was a little bit of space to stand on top of it.
“Is something wrong?” asked a Girl. “The exit should be up ahead.”
Joker looked in front of him and saw a giant glass window. “You’re there,” he said.
“Ugh, that’s just how it is,” replied the Girl. “After the commotion, the bottom floor’s completely closed off. “
Hey, can you make it?” asked another Girl.
“Over there!” said one of the security. Joker looked back and saw them. “There’s nowhere to run!” They had their guns pointing at him. They were moving closer and closer to Joker.
Joker looked at them and then got onto the little wall and ran across it to the giant glass window. Joker looked at the security and said, “See ya.” One last look at them before he jumped into the window getting outside of the Casino.
Joker began to do some tricks in the air as he was falling.
“Hmph, what a show-off,” said a Girl jokingly. “You’re so reckless, you know that?”
Once Joker landed he rolled to the side to avoid the glass landing on him. Once the glass landed on the floor Joker stood up. Only to be greeted by many bright lights.
Joker covered his eyes a bit with his arm. Joker could see police lights. He saw on one of their clothes the words SWAT in large print.
“Enemies here?” said a Girl.
“What’s wrong,” asked a Boy concerned.
“These readings! It can’t be!” yelled a Girl.
“What happened?’’ asked a Boy.
“An ambush?” asked a Girl.
“Joker, can you handle this,” asked the Boyish voice.
“Joker!” yelled a Boy.
“Capture him!” yelled a Police Officer.
The SWAT team began to be in pursuit of Joker. Joker began to run and he saw a ladder and jumped to it. Joker looked as the people on the ground couldn’t get him. Joker laughed at them and he had reached the top. Joker looked back in front of him to see a SWAT member pointing his gun at him.
Joker didn’t move a muscle, and the SWAT member hit Joker in the head with his gun. This made Joker fall down into the Police. The Police surrounded Joker and pinned him to the ground.
“Suspect secured,” said one of the members. A man wearing a suit walked up to Joker who was on the ground. He was clearly the main person who assembled the SWAT team here.
The man looked at Joker. “Didn’t expect to find some kid.” The man knelt down on one knee in front of Joker. “You have your teammate to thank for this.” He grabbed Jokers’s hair and raised Joker’s head. “You were sold out.”
Joker was shocked he couldn’t believe that one of his teammates sold him out. The man let go of Joker’s hair and walked away.
“Suspect confirmed. Cuff him,” said a Police Officer.
Interrogation Room
Persona 5 OST - Interrogation Room.
The interrogation room was silent. Everywhere was white but it looked gray because of the only light being in the middle of the room. Even that illuminated little light. Two men were in the room. One was the man who got Joker and told him he was sold out. The other was this man’s assistant.
They looked at Joker who was in a chair, a syringe was beside the chair.
“Guess the drug was too strong,” said the man. “Wake him up!” he ordered. They threw water in Joker’s face and Joker began to move. Joker’s face was covered with bruises and he had his hands cuffed behind the chair. Joker looked up and saw a camera recording this situation.
Joker saw the man next to him. His face didn’t look happy. “No dozing off,” said the man. Joker tried to move his hands but couldn’t because they were cuffed.
“You still don’t get it, do you?” said the man. “Give it up!” yelled the man as he kicked Joker in the stomach. It made Joker fall off his chair and hit the ground.
The man put his shoe in Joker’s head. “Come on, cooperate. Or what do you want another shot?” said the man. Joker looked at the camera, and the man looked at it too.
“Huh? What about the camera?” the man asked. The man knelt down on one knee and grabbed Joker by the hair. “Are you thinking it can be used as video evidence?” asked the man.
“...” Joker didn’t respond.
The man let go of Joker’s hair and his head fell down on the ground. “Didn’t you hear my question? Answer!” yelled the man. He kicked Joker in the stomach again. Joker began to cough up a little bit of blood. The man went to his assistant and grabbed a clipboard.
“Obstruction of justice, blackmail, defamation, possession of weapons… Manslaughter too, yeah? Talk about the works,” said the man. “To think that all those crimes were led by a punk like this. And you seemed to be enjoying every second of it… Huh?”
“(I was… enjoying it… ?)” thought Joker. “(Everythings hazy… I can’t remember…)”
“...You should know your place.” said the man. He looked at his assistant and told him to uncuff Joker.
The man did and pushed Joker to face forward sitting. Joker touched his hands and they were hurting from being in the handcuffs. The man knelt down and gave Joker the clipboard. “Sign here,” said the man. Joker looked at the clipboard.
“It’s a confession under your name,” the man said.
“...” Joker didn’t respond again. He pushed the clipboard away which angered the man.
“I see…,” said the man. He stood up and looked at Joker. “I need your hand to sign this, but…” The man stomped on Joker’s leg. Joker screamed in pain at the moment he felt the stomp hit his leg. “I don’t care if you end up losing a leg,” said the man menacingly.
He knelt back down and gave Joker the clipboard. This time Joker got it. The man got his pen from his front pocket.
“Don’t expect to walk out of here in one piece,” said the man seriously. “We’re going to make you understand… One must take full responsibility for their actions.”
Joker got the pen from the man and looked at the clipboard. He signed his name on it “Akira Kurusu.”
Outside of the Interrogation Room
Persona 5 OST - Interrogation Room.
A woman with dark clothes and a dark purse was walking through the hallways of the interrogation rooms. She had gray hair and had reached her destination. Her interrogation room had one Police Officer outside. A man stopped her from going any further.
“Excuse me, but this area’s off-”
“I’m Niijima from the Public Prosecutors Office,” the woman interrupted.
“The Prosecutors Office? What business do you have here?” asked the Police Detective.
“Just let me through; it’s urgent. There’s something I need to confirm with the suspect,” said Niijima.
“Niijima, I believe this case is no longer in your jurisdiction,” said the Police Detective. “Besides…”
“Are you Prosecutor Sae Niijima?” asked an Older Detective walking to them. “There’s a call from your director. Hurry and get it over with. To be frank, you’re being an inconvenience”.
Sae heard her phone vibrate someone was calling her. She picked up the phone and answered it.
“*sigh* I thought I ordered you to stand by,” said the SIU Director on the other end of the phone.
“I’m responsible for this case, yet I’m not even being allowed an interrogation!?” Sae complained.
“I’m calling because I knew you’d bring it up,” replied the SIU Director.
“I will not be convinced unless I see it for myself,” said Sae. “This is MY case.”
“*sigh* Good luck to you then,” said the SIU Director. “I won’t be expecting much though…”
Sae ended the call and put her phone back in her pocket.
“Ah, Prosecutor. I forgot to mention something important,” said the Older Detective. “Your time will be cut short. We can’t permit you to talk with him for long.”
Sae looked disappointed. “It’s for your own sake,” the Older Detective explained. “His methods are unknown. After all, we don’t even know if it’s safe to simply meet and speak with him.”
“...I understand,” replied Sae. Sae turned back and went into the interrogation room.
Sae opened the door and entered the room. She then closed the door and sat down in front of Joker. Joker was sitting on the opposite side of her. They were sitting near a white table.
“...I didn’t expect it’d be you,” said Sae a little sad. “You’ll be answering my questions this time.” Sae looked at the floor and saw the syringe on the ground. She knew they had drugged him. “Those bastards…” she said to herself.
“Can you hear me?’ asked Sae getting a little close to Joker. “It seems you’ve been through a lot. Almost anything can happen here… and I can’t stop them. That’s why I need you to answer me honestly. I don’t have much time either.” Sae got back to her chair and looked at Joker.
“What was your objective?” asked Sae. “Why did you cause such a major incident. I didn’t think it was a prank from the get-go, but I couldn’t assemble a case for prosecution. It’s because I couldn’t figure out the method behind it.”
“Of course you couldn’t,” replied Joker.
“True,” replied Sae. “There’s no way I could be convinced of such a… “world” just by reading the reports. It seems you’re coherent. When and where did you find out about that world? How is it even possible to steal another’s heart? Now, tell me your account of everything. ...Start from the very beginning.”
Joker grabbed his hair with his hand and looked down. Joker then saw something. It was blue and it sounded like it was flapping its wings. It was a blue butterfly. Sae couldn’t see it only Joker.
“...You are held captive,” said a mysterious voice. The voice sounded like a female. “A prisoner of fate to a future that has been sealed in advance. This is truly an unjust game… Your chances of winning are almost none. But if my voice is reaching you, there may be a possibility open to you… I beg you. Please overcome this game… and save the world… The key to victory lies within the memories of your bonds--the truth that you and your friends grasped. It all began that day… when the game was started half a year ago… For the sake of the world’s future… as well as your own… you must remember.”
Joker saw as the butterfly left and only he and Sae remained in the room.

Well, now you know how long the story will be. I hope you all are ready for the next chapter.
It’ll probably be out in 3-5 days because these take a long time to write. I hope you readers will tag along for the entire ride. This is the Persona 5 story a long one.
So be ready for like one hundred chapters of this story. I’m just kidding but what happens if we actually do it. That would be amazing.
