"This book is off to a great start. There are a few errors here and there, but nothing that takes away from the story. I find the main character really interesting, and can't wait to find out where her journey takes her. I love the detail in the book, I find a lot of books I read, rush the story, by not putting enough detail. I can't wait to read more. Please update soon. :-)"

Good story, awesome detailing

"I really like your main character skyleigh. The way you described the journey of her life specially when she just entered the very crucial stage which is 16years old, is really tremendous. I like the tiny tiny details you add in the story like how her zoology teacher looked at her from head to toe etc. It's really good to read stories with such details. And (I hate her father😏) well done.. keep it up.."

A lead-in to adventure

"As I write this the stories Heroine is just setting off to find a part of her life. Skyleigh is a character who is really down to earth, a person we all can relate to, and care deeply about. Enough so that when her life is sent into a tailspin , the reader is compelled to read on, to answer the same questions she has. My only regret is that she doesn’t like being called Sky! lol A great read by a gifted writer !"

Interesting, kept me reading

"Starting of this story is really interesting and I really liked the description of the character. For just two chapters this story really is pretty awesome. I really wish now that the author completes this story because every chapter leaves you at a cliffhanger to thrive for more."

An Artist's POV.

"I have been impressed by the detailed description of Skyleigh's art. The creative process is truly depicted through an artist's eyes, and the humor here and there makes this story a heartwarming read. There's a well suggested setting that allows for one's mind to wander through space with the main character, with whom one easily identifies. I love the way Skyleigh's feelings are introduced, so much that at the end of Chapter 2, my heart raced and leaped along with hers. There's a great inciting incident which titillates my curiosity... I'll make sure to binge read the author's updates !"

A strong start!

"Is sarcastic narrative your cup of tea. Then slap on your reading glasses and strap in for a bumpy ride 🙈 Even though currently there are only two chapters while writing this review, the story has strong potential. Cannot wait to see where author goes with it 🤔 Keep up the good work author! ♥️ "

"I gave the chapter stars across. I think it is an interesting start. I can see that you layered some things into the character that you can build on later as the plot unravels the character or the character unravels the plot... whichever. In my own writing I tend to sometimes focus on certain details or descriptions that I find fun and think the reader will as we. You described the house... to paraphrase- "I lived in a run down house on the outskirts of town." I didn't go back and look, I think that is what you wrote. I think it might be cool if you added something like.... "I lived in a run down house on the outskirts of town. At one time there was a small statue of St Francis out by the front gate. It was about a foot and half tall and weathered and had no head. One of the neighborhood boys had smacked it off with a hockey stick and pushed it up and down on the sidewalk just beyond the yard. I don't know why. I guess he didn't have a puck. Or maybe he didn't like St Francis. I suppose it doesn't matter. Just a thought."

Good start

"Good start to the story; interesting plot and character set up. Skyleigh seems like someone alot of people can relate to, or someone they'd empathize with. I certainly did. Not sure what the author plans for the rest of the story, but so far I can't see how the title Social Outcast' relates to the story. The main character is a social outcast, but this seems to be heading in the direction of being based on Skyleigh and her parents. Might want to reconsider changing the title if the story main conflict wont be solely based on her as a social outcast. Also, just want to note that having her own father shoot her was rather shocking, i'm hoping this will be explained later on. As a reader, i wanted to know why he'd do such a terrible thing. Obviously this man is a terrible person, I hope the author will take their time to show the reader just how terrible he is. That we will get to see how he treated his daughter/wife in real time, and not just have that described to us."

Plot Twist!!

"I definitely love the plot twist. It took me by surprise and definitely made things more interesting. I also love the new character you brought in and he should definitely create some drama. I’m super excited to read the next chapter and I can’t wait to find out what happens next!!!"

"From what I've read so far, I think the story has a good start. The author has set up a lot of character blocks that can be built on later, which is always good. I love the cliff hanger. (It's always fun to start a story with a good ol' cliffhanger.) A critique I have would be that the some of the paragraphs are quite large and wordy, some filled with unnecessary detail. Don't get me wrong, I'm a sucker for a good description. I just think that every now and then, it wouldn't hurt to keep some things short. Good story so far Author!"
