PROLOGUE

".. come my child! You must know that you are to become the Queen of the underworld." Said lady la Rue.

"Yes m'lady I know." I force it out of my mouth. Gracefully of course.

"You should know that by marrying my son, you take the other half of reign. You are by no chance to betray us or hurt the kingdom in any way possible." Rye said with a stern voice.

"Do you Nyx Acolla redymayne Black vow to rule the underworld, and to make sure that no harm comes to any of the citizens here?" She asked holding so much authority, that I almost hesitated.

Almost.

But then I remembered why I was here.

So I put on my signature look and said "yes of course lady la Rue. I vow and I promise to rule the underworld proudly and with responsibility and to make sure that no harm comes to the citizens." I say smirking widely.

Lady Rue of course was taken aback that despite her authority I smirked.

So then she recomposes and say,

"Then with no further delay you may kiss the the man."

and with that kiss to her son, I seal the start of my mission and their down fall.
