Prologue
Anallise was sitting at her normal desk, in her normal room, in her normal house when they had announced the competition. It had been a normal day at her school, Moorhead middle school. She went from class to class, invisibly no one noticing her presence. The only thing not quit normal was that it was quiz day in science. Anallise had sat in the front of the bus, quietly, waiting for her stop. When the bus pulled up to her house she had walked upstairs and began studying, as she always did, the worlds beyond the universe. She had turned the TV on to the news, as she liked to know what was going on in the world around her, when the man in the strange lab coat came on.
“Hello parents and children of the world.” He had began, “Are you sick and tired of your boring normal lives? Are you exceptionally smart but not understood by your classmates? Inviting all children ages 10-14, exceptionally smart, and ready to take on a challenge to join us here in NYC to join the Other World competition. a competition made to determine the team of brilliant kids to travel to a new world beyond the universe of the milky way and space as we know it. “May I? May I? May I?” she had asked excitedly. Her parents looked at each other.
“Open up the website.”

I don't want to exactly ‘spoil’ who wins the competition so I will put the finalists pictures, and profiles at the end of the story and if i make a sequel (which i probably will) at the beginning of it.
