Beast Within

Somethings wrong

It's coming on strong

The beast howls at the gate

Unraveling my fate

It hides on the inside

Looking for its sweet escape

All the time its had to bide

To finally form into its shape

The monster within grows

Gaining power by the day

Life continues to amplify my woes

As my heart continues to decay

My heart is now frozen

The cage within now brittle and weak

The beast has been chosen

As all it has to do is speak

The cage breaks apart

And the beast is free

This is just the start

The start of an eternity

Is there a hero out there for me

Someone that can slay this beast
