What is your opinion?

Such a sad story

"Such a sad story. My heart goes out to Ujunwa. Why is her husband so cold and not wanting a family. What does he do that he would not want a family? Does he have some one else in the picture like a mistress, or is it something in the family dynamics? "

A Bit on the Side and A Lot in Betwen ...

"Ujunwa does her best to appear content in her marriage. She knows that peace can only occur as long as her husband Somadina is happy. Unfortunately Somadina has many rules in his household and one of his most important laws is that Ujunwa is never to give birth to a child. However Unjunwa desperately wants a baby. As she does her best to hide her growing pregnancy with a feigned appetite she watches Somadina becoming suspicious. Will Ujunwa be able to continue to fool her husband? And can she bear the punishment that will swiftly follow if her husband ever finds out? Wow. I’m not sure if my one paragraph description does the story justice, but this was very, well written. Yes there were some grammatical errors, but grammatical errors can always be fixed. A narrative voice however is something else altogether. A narrative voice is skill that can’t be taught. Either a writter has a voice or she or he doesn’t and Toniyene has an excellent one If I say so myself. I’m a little jealous actually. Lol! Anyway, I greatly enjoyed this story and I’m looking forward to reading more work from this author."

Good! - A Bit On The Side

"Folk Novel telling the ups and downs of living in Igbo, Nigeria. The writer's story telling is very good, the description of events, the inclusion of expressions native to the Igbo make this Folk novel a delight to read, it fully immerses you into the story. Two chapters have captivated my interest. A good read!"

First chapter

"The descriptions you have made about the place are amazing but at some point I got a little confused, I had a bit of an hard time knowing who the characters were so I would suggest a deeper introduction to the characters and their relations to one another. Other that that I think their story has great potential! Keep on going! Have a wonderful day!"
