"This is a beautiful and heartwarming story on so many levels. I particularly enjoyed Tilly‘s growth into a mature little angel, from first crush to first heartbreak to ultimately finding her soulmate. I also loved how the author portrayed the passing of time, the Christmas Magic, and how Tilly‘s growth was mirrored in the changes her human owner went through as well. I will certainly look at my ornaments with different eyes this year. 😍"

"You might not know, Gwen, but what you're doing by putting this heartwarming and sweet story up for us to read is draw smiles on people's faces and gift them with hope. "All I Wish For Christmas" in all its aspects and perspectives is an amazing story, written with a heart flowing with love and kindness. I must say, I loved every bit of it. You have a very unique, one-of-a-kind plot, because I've never read such a plot before, and even though your characters aren't human, they're so realistic. Tilly is so close to the heart, and I bet a lot of readers thought that her personality is just like theirs—well, at least that's what I thought. I love how realistic she is, struggling with a crush, heartbreak, and then finally finding true love. You showed us how Tilly gradually grew up and discovered different aspects of life, learned new things, and experienced different emotions. And the way you pour Christmas Spirit in every tiny detail, from the flirting to cursing and even the wedding ceremony was adorable and funny. I like how you didn't ignore Alexa and the other minor characters as well. As much as Christmas is heartwarming, you made it more and more delightful. You explain the idea of Christmas in a way close to the hearts—this story is so close to kids' minds as well—I love that even naughty kids need and deserve hope and that Christmas is truly not restricted to one religion. It's for all the people in the world and everybody deserves to enjoy it. You brought joy to the world through this story, and I'm sure this joy and hope and love will rebound and find its way to you for as many years to come! Merry Christmas!! 💜🎄"

"This is the sweetest, most heartwarming story that I've read. It is a magical little story that will bring the meaning of Christmas back to those who have lost that Christmas spirit. This story brought out so many emotions that I honestly didn't expect from this little treasure. The characters are delightful, they will truly make your heart melt. Joy, Peace and Love are what Christmas is all about and this story delivers it all. The author has exhibited a beautiful and unique story, I would be delighted to have half the talent of this author. "I will admit that this is not the type of book that I would normally pick up, but when I was given this story to judge as part of an awards here on Inkitt, I approached it with an open mind and I am so incredibly glad that I did. It was a touching, heartwarming, and lovely story. I kept finding myself wanting to read the next chapter, and then the next. For a grinch like me who doesn't normally like Christmas stories, I loved every bit of this. Bravo!"

Though I'm really just a big kid, I would love to share this story with children who are just starting to find themselves. There is a special mystique to falling in love. Combined with the special secrets of Christmas, it is just perfect for making this story memorable. A warm fire, hot chocolate, and some Christmas cookies creates the perfect atmosphere to enjoy your inspiring tale. "Have to say this is more of a Novella then a short story. There is enough yuletide magic and turns to keep the reader turning the page. This could easily be seen in Barnes and Noble Christmas aisle. Ms. Thames works a spell of what may seem lost...but also found. With a moral of not giving up hope...one still will believe in this Holiday story. 2 Thumbs way up to this treat that is a sweet as an all day candy cane with a hint of eggnog to get you buzzed for the winter festivities at store."

"I want to write like Gwen when I grow up! This was a delightful story with a clever and (far as I'm aware, and I read a *lot*) unique idea. The way she revealed the characters is delightful, the chapter endings kept nudging me to 'just read one more'...the description and characterization could go just a touch deeper, maybe, but that's being nitpicky. This story is excellent. Please keep writing!"

"A lovely story. The emotional upheavals of little Tilly are so realistic, this is a very enjoyable story even though none of the characters is human. The story brought you back to the memory when one experienced his or her first love, complete with disappointments and heart break, but it was written beautifully. Kudos to Gwen Thames."
