What's to Come
There were two worlds that were connected to one another. However, how each person lived in each world differs from one another, resulting in the two worlds to diverse slowly and slowly overtime.
Now, the worlds were completely different.
There was a world that relied on slavery to make ends meet. Slaves were used for nothing more than labor and livestock. Anyone could be a slave as long as those of higher class demands it. Those of higher class can use these slaves for their own gratification. Hell, let God save those who have been used as sex slaves.
Then, there was another world where the life of those could speak to one another. Elves, humans, beasts- all races of all kind are treated fairly and with respect. This was what we would hope to happen. A utopia. No slavery and no discrimination.
Yes, these two worlds are different from one another.
If one were to encounter the other world, surely they wouldn't do so well. A world of darkness and a world full of hope, which will cause the least forgettable experience for the unlucky person?
If a slave would appear in a world where discrimination is unavailable to the naked eye, they would be lost without a second. To everyone around the person, they would be considered of higher status and unable to sympathize with the slave. How could a person sympathize with someone if they hadn't experience what the world is supposed to be like?
A world can't be good without having its downsides.
The same thing can be said about a person be transported to a world of slavery. They would utmost certainly be traumatized by how the world differs from their own. Dark and cruel, these were the things that never happened in their world. How can they bare to live in a cruel world that can only offer darkness? There is no hope to be seen, unless you count those fucking rich bastards who caused this system of slavery in the first place.
A world can't be bad without having its ideals.
