"Hey you know Sika would be disappointed in you," he said sitting next to him.

The teacher was lightly snoring on his desk. All the windows were closed and only 1 light turned on, it made it very easy to act like they were doing their work.

"Eh, nothing I can't handle," Aaron replied.

"Don't you find it wierd that she hasn't shown up today?" Jace asked "She's been acting a little jumpy the past few days."

"No she said she wasn't going to come on Thursday so maybe that also counts for today. Like who's going to come to school just for a Friday?" He said while quickly glancing at the teacher. "If you want we can go ask her parents tomorrow on our way to the skate park. Meet me at noon."

The bell rang and all the students stood up in sync.

"Alright," Jace agreed while walking out the door.

Heika van Walderveen: I had to get used to the style. It’s a lot of switching and getting back into the story of the characters. Also the different timelines were a bit confusing in the beginning. But once you’re used to it, it’s really quite original. The plot is good, but it’s only book 1 (out of 3), but so far so good...

truben21: It took me a while to get into the flow of this story, but once I did, I was hooked. The female lead step from naivety to siren was a little fast for me, but I guess it needed to be, to move the story along. I can't wait for the next story, with the cliff hanger whetting my appetite.
