unexpected and sexy
"*spoilers* I was kinda expecting this to be 50 shades of grey, but with male protagonist. I was happily surprised to see that it wasn't the case. I like that protagonist initiated the steamy scene, instead of being "saved" by a rich man. Now the criticism. Some parts need revising, I felt that Viktor's character wasn't developed enough but I'm only 3 chapters in. We'll see how it goes."
Intriguing
"I have to say at the beginning I got confused. Not only because the name Bee made me think of a girl, but how they interacted. After reading a while I understood Bee was a man. Omg, but no worries. Overall story Amazing and intriguing. it has this touch of mystery with sexyness on it. Hats of to the author for it writing. I definitely love how descriptive the story was. This is roller coaster of emotions and I bet as the story progress it will develop with a lot of twists and turns. Kudos to you!!"

The "now I know what a DragKing is" Review
"(read up until chapter 07) I know I am a plain gal so I do not have much experience with this genre or with the subject in this novel. but oh boy, it was entertaining! In a verry tasteful manner. Nothing to graphic, only suggestive, putting your imagination to work but giving plenty of details. I am talking about the story folks. Nothing more! The focal point is the main character's inner core. What he feels, why he feels it, how he feels it! I am talking about the emotions, sheesh! The author put so much thought into what words to use to describe even a simple dance scene and makes use of irony in a humorous way (loved the florist part). And I need to mention the characters interactions that is done realistically. My favourite was Bee/Mia. Viktor(with a K, alright?) is kept under the vail and is yet to be revealed. My guess: in a heart shattering way. Also, every character shown gives an air of unicity. Even Rosa, the door lady. I was surprised I was able to connect with the story but it is all due to the author's skillful writing. What I want to point out from this book is this line: "Friendships that don't help you grow are worthless" and I can swap it to this: "Books that don't help you grow...should be put back on the shelf" - for the ones that do help you grow - they will always stay with you. This is well on the way of becoming such a book with the bonus it leaves you learning a new quote ... and what a drag king is."

Completely enthralling!
"(Ongoing, read til the end of chapter 7) I'm utterly captivated by this story! I haven't read a story set in the drag scene that has taken this angle - it's very refreshing to see a different side to drag culture, one that's less flashy and showy and more focused on the person beneath it all, but still maintaining the atmosphere associated with the life. The author does a wonderful job of capturing all this, props to them! The descriptions are very well done too; the author sets the scenes skillfully, but they capture the emotions of the main character - Bee - even more so. From his tense relationship with his roommate to his interactions with the mysterious Viktor, his thoughts and feelings are portrayed with a clarity that quickly drew me into the narrative. He's a very well developed character into whom we're given a great insight, but he's also unpredictable and does things that surprised me, but not in an out-of-character way - more so that there's more to him than meets the eye, and I'm entirely intrigued to find out more. Excellent job with this, can't wait to read on!"
