What is your opinion?

Brilliant

"I kept finding myself drawn back to your story. I loved your writing style and found myself laughing more than once. It is a great mix of magic and humor. (Maybe fix the intro to chapter 9 as it is quite bold!)"

Gut bustingly, bawdily hilarious

"If you feel like setting your table in a roar. don't go past this excellent tale of kings, queens, princes, wizards, dragons, wenches and hilariously clueless drunkards. The Kingdom of Kalash has been brought to life by Dean's very witty writing style, and his deft navigation of the plot proves him to be a worthy captain of bawdy adventure indeed. Tales of Kalash Part 1 is well thought out, and the writing style is both humorous and easy to read. I had a rule before I read this story... No dragons! But I've been forced to amend that rule to 'No dragons, unless they reside in the Kingdom of Kalash....' Much kudos to Dean for imagining such an hilarious, bawdy universe. Truly a fractured fairy tale with a wont to split many a side. Top marks... Really looking forward to part 2... Definitely one for fans of Monty Python, or just anyone who isn't offended by lewd humour. Read it, go on, have a laugh. You deserve it. Laz."

The story is good

"Sorry that I take awhile before I write the review, I always try to adopt myself with the writing style, analyzing before giving critique. Sometimes I read the work four times, but on this story I read it one time. Your way of narrating is good, and has humor taste. You give the details and let your reader imagine it themselves. I can see everything. Although I've given my previous comment. -6/23/2016 I've finally finished reading this work. I don't know what it's like in the next Part, It leaves me some interesting ideas, -Hearm Jan"

In another world

"Chapter one is where I got a little stuck. Why stuck? I'll tell you. I love your humor, your sentence structure and how that humor finely blends in. The thing is, number one, your plot and outline just seems too cliche to me. Maybe a little more twist and turn in the tale should take it further. Secondly, your plot and characters revolve around hierarchies and monarchies. i.e. governments and governments mean politics. Rather than focus on the humor between simple characters, a good pinch of political humor will really spice things up. Thirdly, back to chapter one. Even though it didn't cut for me, I kept reading forward because I don't typically judge a book by its cover but the thing is most people do and my opinion on that is you have too much information going on around there, Rather than flood the word-pond with a description of the kingdom and the other world, spend more on building an intro-plot that will keep the reader immersed within the first chapter. All in all, i just love the way you have blended humor with the type of setting that is usually regarded as dark and arduous, and your writing style just brings it out in a way that I can almost picture the comedy unfolding which in itself is amazing because many readers are unable "get-it", so to speak, and you've basically overcome that obstacle which really makes your work unique. Wish you all the best!"

Tales of Kalash Part I

"The author has a fluid and easy style of writing that is entertaining to read. Unfortunately, the plot was too light and fluffy for me, though the potential is there. The characters were not well fleshed-out, leaving them more like two dimensional cut-outs. I would have liked to have seen much more on the princess, rather than a 'wham bam thank you ma'am', like a drive by shooting. The story needs careful editing to catch some of the words which we all overuse and are not necessary, e.g. ''rather', but there were others. A final caution: the names of the characters should always be spelled uniformly throughout, and it is easy to check this with a 'search' function for the first few letters of a name,."
