Who are you?
Disclaimer: I own none of these characters. All of the credits got to JK Rowling.
And I’m sorry if this book is bad.
“Severus. Severus! Come here.” Those words left the mouth of my father. My “father”. The abusive, awful Muggle who my mother married.
“What, now?” I complained. “Severus.” He said. “Get. Out. Of. My. Sight.” “But why?” I asked. “Sorcery and magic. Dealing with the devil. I won’t have you in my house. I WON’T!”
“But I’m only 10 years old, I haven’t any idea how to learn magic...”
“Do you think I care? You do. Your mother does. You do also.”
“I don’t know how to do magic.”
“Leave right now.”
I turned around and fled, running outside into the warm sunshine.
Ever since my father, Tobias Snape, had married my mother, Eileen Prince-Snape, her life had worsened, and she fell deep into the depths of depression. It seemed like nothing could pull her out of there, no matter how hard I tried to make her happy. It was like she kept falling faster and harder everyday.
Things worsened last year, when Tobias divorced Eileen and married Eva Laurence. Eva seemed like all I had ever wanted for a mother and someone who loved me, but she was a Muggle.
And a Muggle could never, ever love us.
Eva and Tobias getting married one year ago seemed like the final straw for my mother.
She lost the only person who had ever seemed to care about her. She still had me, though, I consoled myself. Not that that was much.
I sat down in the warm grass, underneath the cool shade of the old oak tree. Behind my dreary gray house in the polluted side of Cokesworth, also known as Spinner’s end, was this beautiful meadow.
Many found it magic that there was the lush meadow in the middle of the dreary city.
Others said it was magic.
I lay down in the shade, closing my eyes, feeling at peace in nature... like everything would be alright...
When I awoke, in the distance, I saw a girl, with fiery red hair and emerald green eyes. I had never seen her before.
