Chapter 1
To Kim Seokjin-
Hyung, you know that I’m sick. But you never knew the severity of how bad my illness is. I have cancer. And . . . I’m at the last stage. I’ve kept it from you because I didn’t want to change our relationship. Right now, the doctors say I have a few days left, a week. Maybe more, maybe less. But they can’t save me. It’s partially my fault. I refused to take medications and chemos, because I just couldn’t. Other people, who are better than me, younger than me, who haven’t lived their life to the fullest. They needed those things more than me. I thought I could fight off the cancer on my own, without any help, but obviously I was wrong.
Please don’t be too mad at me, Jin hyung.
Ever since Yoongi, Hoseok, Jimin, Taehyung, and Jungkook moved in with us, we’ve made so many memories and we all have so much fun with each other. The seven of us together have always been so amazing. All of us against the world. But I always think of us, Jin. You mean everything to me. I don’t know how else to express myself except showing you. And I’ll do my best with words, but they aren’t enough for you.
