•A/N's POV•
You were struggling to open your eyes along with carring your heavy backpack as you headed to school which was 5 minutes walk away. It seemed that your shoulders will fall off any moment due to the weight, until you felt someone taking it off.
You smiled knowing who it was.
"Hey, Kookie!" You turned to see your best friend, Jungkook.
"Hi." He replied walking past you avoiding your face.
"Did you have Breakfast?" You asked catching up with him and he just nodded in response.
Jeon Jungkook has been your best friend since forever. You both literally grew up together as both of your mothers were bestie friends. You both were inseparable ever since you were born.
You and Jungkook kept walking without uttering a single word. But you were used to this. You didn't ask anything knowing that he will only say hmm or nod. You really miss the 17 year old Jungkook who was cheerfull, bubbly and a big crackhead. But ever since he turned 18, his personality turned completely opposite. Especially after he lost his father.
But still he is always there for you. And you were always there for him.
You both reached the classroom. And he kept your backpack on your seat and sat next to you. Yes, you both were bench mates. Before you could say anything, he put his head down and closed his eyes.
°Time Skip°
Lunch
"Kookie, don't you want to have lunch?" You asked shaking him a little as he was fast asleep.
"No. You can go. I won't." He muttered. You got up ans left the room disappointed.
You were walking in the hallways when someone pushed to so hard that you fell on the ground. You knew it was the bullies. You hated them.
"WHAT DO YOU WANT!?" I yelled in frustration as they laughed like a pack of hyenas.
"We want to to suffer." The leader of them said. Before you could get up and fight, they threw powder and water on you.
"WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK ARE YOU DOING!?" You heard a familiar voice.
The bullies left immediately seeing Lee Know with his friends.
"Are you okay?" Bang Chan asked running towards you and dusting off the powder on your hair.
"Here. Wear it." Jisung said giving you his jacket since you were wet. You wore it.
"Get up, come on." Lee Know said giving you his hands and you took it.
"Let's go and sit somewhere." Bang Chan said and you nodded in agreement.
You went to the nearest classroom and Bang Chan sat next to you while Lee Know and Han sat in front.
•Y/N's POV•
"Why wouldn't you fight back? Y/N, I didn't teach you kickboxing for nothing." Lee Know said looking angry.
"I was about to." I said in defense.
"Look at you. Wipe it off." Bang Chan said handing me a napkin.
"Do you need something?" Jisung asked as worried as Bang Chan.
"I am fine, guys." I said.
"No you aren't. Those brats. I'll teach them a lesson." Lee Know said angrily.
"Let's not kill anybody today." I said and Jisung laughed.
Lee Know is well my ex. We were dating a year ago. We dated for a month but nothing happened between us because we both were just trying to move on or forget the ones we love but shouldn't love. Later we realized it's all of no use. So we decided to break up and be good friends.
As for Bang Chan and Jisung, we 3 are close friends.
"I will kil-" Lee Know was interrupted by my stomach growling for food.
"I am hungry." I said in embarrassment and they laughed thier asses out.
"Go to the class. I'll buy you something." Lee Know said after he was done laughing.
"Really? Then I want a strawberry yogurt." I said in excitement.
"Only babies eat strawberry yogurt." Lee Know teased.
"I am A bAby." I said pouting and Bang Chan pinched my cheeks.
"Awww Y/N-ie is a baby." Bang Chan said.
"Chanie, it hurts." I said and he let go.
"Go to the class now. I will bring it to you. Rest." Lee Know said and I did.
*Meanwhile*
•Jk's POV•
I was about to go and check if Y/N was eating when I saw a bunch of girls standing near a classroom.I overheard them talking.
"So you are telling me Y/N and Lee Know never broke up?" One girl said.
"Yes! Look at them laughing and she seems to be wearing his clothes too." Another replied.
Out of curiosity, I peeked in the window of the classroom to see Y/N with 3 boys. One of them was her ex boyfriend. They were laughing and she was pouting. She isn't allowed to pout in front of anyone who isn't me.
"They are so in love." one of the girls said.
"Y/N seems happy too." Another added.
I couldn't bear the sight of her being with someone else. All I ever had was Y/N. If I lose her, I cannot take it. I just left and went to the class.
°A/N's POV°
You were happy when you came and sat next to Jungkook. Murmuring "Amor Fati", you started to organize your books.
"Your mood seems good." Jungkook asked trying to make an conversation. You were shocked that he spoke first but nevertheless you replied.
"Yeah. Today is a great day." You said smiling widely.
"If only you knew what your smile does to me." Jungkook thought.
He was about to ask you about what you were doing with the guys when he saw Lee Know walking towards the both of you.
"Here you go 'Baby'." Lee Know said placing the yogurt on your desk. You chuckled well aware of him teasing you by saying baby.
"Thank you." You said smiling.
"You are welcome, Baby." Lee know replied grinning from ear to ear. You punched him softly.
"Stop it!" You said laughing.
"I know you love it." He said winking playfully.
"Come here..you.." You yelled and he ran away. You nod your head in amusement.
You turned towards Jungkook and got startled. He looked like he is kill someone. So pissed that his ears were red.
"Baby, huh?" He asked looking at your eyes. His eyes were burning.
"Ummmm....well..uh." You struggled to find the answer.
"WHY'D HE CALL YOU BABY!?" He asked almost growling.
"So Jeon freaking Jungkook is jealous? Time you have some fun." You smirked internally as you thought.
"Well. Why can't he?" You shrugged to see his reaction.
"I thought you broke up. Is this the reason why you couldn't tell the reason why you broke up? You never broke up?" He asked as his angry face softened.
"Jungkook, we..." You stopped as you saw a tear falling from his sad eyes.
"So, y-you l-love him? You used Jungkook. A-are you never c-calling me Kookie a-again?" He asked and your heart shattered.
•Y/N'S POV•
"Kookie, no. I don't love him at all. We are just friends. He just helped me from those bullies." I explained and his soft face turned red in anger.
"Bully? Who dared to touch you?" He said getting up angrily. He looked furious to be honest. What do I do?
"I love you!" I brusted out making his jaw drop."I love you. I h-have been feeling this way since a long time. Every single time you smile, my heart won't stop beating. I literally want to by my side 24/7. You live in my head rent free. My stupid mind is always thinking about you. I really love you." I confessed and waited for this reaction. He was still processing.
"I am DOOMED."
"It's okay if you don't feel the same. It's fine. Really, you can't force feelings. You don't have to. Let's forget I said thi-" I was cut of by a pair of lips on mine. He kissed me and I kissing him back immediately.
After 2 good minutes, we parted for air.
"I love you too. I have waited so long for this. I love you, Han Y/N." He said with love visible in his eyes and I smiled.
"BTW, why'd you break up with Lee Know." He asked curiously.
"I dated him because I wanted to get over you. And I realized that I already fell deep to get over. And Lee Know also realized that he was in love with someone else." I answered.
