What is your opinion?

Not my taste, but keep the good work up!

"Yeah, I'm sorry, it's not clicking with me. It also just seems a little.... Generic? The synopsis presents a fairly cookie cutter premise. But hey, I'm sure someone else out there would like it! And to be fair, the writing itself is solid. I didn't see any egregious grammar or spelling mistakes."

Nice Work ❤

"It's an amazing story ❤ Though it's only two chapters and too early to say anything but I'm already loving the book. The first chapter showing her relation with her father is indeed a good job. Your details are beautiful and help to imagine so well. I would just say that sometimes the detailing get too much. It's not in a bad sense, it's just that it confuses the readers about her own personal thoughts and details. The second is quite advantageous with Katrina and Taurian... I loved it and it made the readers hooked. I loved your character formation also. The female lead is made good, kind-hearted, clever and strong ❤ that's a good job... And just go through the grammar and rectify the unnecessary details... and try to minimise the use of her name excessively. But overall, an amazing job... Keep it up ❤ Happy writing ❤ "

Thorns and Roses

"This was a brilliant book. However, can I point out that the blurb is a little too long and detailed for my taste? I mean yeah it still has the element of surprise in it but I still think it's wordy. I'd advise the author to use more pronouns than nouns since the MC's name keeps reappearing. That usually helps readers like me who have short term memory remember the MC's name but in this case the author went a little too far. The characters have distinct personalities and I especially found myself relating to Katrina! She had that distinctive personality that definitely doesn’t go unnoticed, and the author did a really good job at presenting that! Character interactions seem realistic in accordance to the situation. "

Good job so far!

"Overall, this is a solid start. I do like Katrina, and I like how the first official chapter (after the prologue) was introduced like a hunt but it turned into a game of capture the flag. It kept me interested and wanting to find out what happens. I do think running this through a grammar check (Grammarly is great!) would help the overall grammar, punctuation, and other mechanical issues. There are some run on sentences, and some details that could be tightened up. For instance, instead of repeating the snow was fluffy, you could compare it to something, or use other adjectives to describe it. Let your readers know how Katrina feels and what's going on in her mind using internal dialogue- don't simply tell us. Good start though! I'd be interested in reading more."

So far so good!

"I like the story so far and I must say I'm a suker for fantasy so I'm very excited to see what fantasy elements will be added to the story (especially when Katrina and Tarion go on their voyage). I think you can try and replace writing "Katrina" with the pronoun "She" because her name pops up way too much in most of the sentences (I don't know if you understand what I'm tryna say). Overall, I'm looking forward to the story. "
