"I'd read several chapter of this novel, but it wasn't until our library recently bought this book that I was able to get fully into the story. As a friend of this author, and a fan of many of her works, I can truthfully say that this book will not disappoint the readers looking for a unique fantasy story (With mermaids, magic, and lots of secrets) It's the best thing K. Weikel has ever written, and is full of surprising twists and turns. There were a few things that I read that seemed... like they weren't part of this fantasy style. It would go from thrilling fantasy with chases and magic precautions to floating figures and people turning into pigs. I thought it was ended well, but a few things would have been better. (I personally wanted Damian to be imprisoned or killed) All in all it was very good, and inspired me to write... I recommend reading it to everyone out there."
