Exciting start!
"Clear cut character voice and exciting writing! I look forward to reading more! The author had me hooked from the blurb, and while there were several areas where telling could be expanded to showing, they weren’t to the point that they detracted from the writing. I have high hopes for this novel! "
Really good!!!
"Oh, it was a good horror story. The info-dumping and the depressing character is a downside a little bit. But overall I think if you want a story to read in the dark to give you chills check out this story! But overall there were no spelling or grammar errors that I could see so that's perfect. Then the plot of the story is yet to reveal itself. Like I don't know what the end goal is and I don't know if the whole plot is just Emily surviving a hell hole of a hospital or something greater yet. Either way, it would be a great investment to check out this story!"
Compelling
"This is a superb piece of writing that introduces us to a central character, Emily, who is physically disabled. Emily's condition and treatment is presented in a matter-of-fact way that makes her situation all the more believable. And, when Emily enters the world of horrors that are about to make this story turn grim and brutal, that suggested of being believable is going to make the whole thing even more terrifying. Can't wait to read more from this author."
A story you don't want to miss
"Captivating plot, with a writing style that draws you in. Eagerly waiting for the rest to come out!"
Emily's Mad World
"The story is coming out nicely. Keep up the momentum and suspense building, I am pretty sure it is going to make an impressive and interesting read. Brilliant effort."
Emily’s Mad World
"I love the writing of this story! It’s easy to understand and decipher. This story is probably one of the most interesting stories I’ve ever read. Although it is fiction, it talks about some real life issues that many people face. And I love that I can read something that I relate too! The transition in this chapter was beautiful! It was so well done! Although this is only the first chapter, the main character was relatable. I really loved this chapter, and I’m hoping to read more of this story!! :)"
A Thrilling Journey
"Rarely have I had a book hook me so quickly. I found myself being unable to stop reading, and every line drew me deeper into the story. I found the premise to be unique and a breath of fresh air. "
Something missing...
"Amidst all the information given while reading, there was something missing in between. I found it thrilling at the end, and you need to incorporate that for the beginning and the middle of the chapters 1 and 2 that you have now. Secondly, I don't think that there is anything else pertaining to grammar, or maybe it slipped my eyesight. Your writing style was good, but you need to know what makes you scared, and you need to apply that in your writing. You would not believe how true that is when it comes to situations. What makes your heart flutter rapidly in your chest? I know information and fleshing out is good for characters to live in the story, but you have to remember too much information would make your readers bored. I do advise you to revise what you have for chapters one and two and see with new eyes what can be omitted and what can be applied. It was a great story and I love the already building plot. Don't forget to enjoy writing as much as you enjoy reading. All good luck from me!"
Woah
"The straighforward approach was effective. The way you don't sugarcoat their experiences and situation makes it more real. Like, is it really happening, this horror, and you reflect and realize in reality it's far worse. I'm curious as to what experiments it would be and if there's a chance Emily could redeem her life again. I was imagining if in the progress of the story she becomes a bad ass because she can't take it anymore--the villains shinanigans. And for other readers--As of this writing it's only Chapter 2, but if you want to read this and you like this genre, it has a refreshing style."
