Darcy Quinn
"I found it very well written, it conveyed all the dilemma, and the angst of a young girl in turbulence, about to betray her body and her mind to buy into something she didn't quite believe in, A wonderful illustration of the sneering peer group that she unfortunately bows to. It leaves you worried for her and wondering how she feels now."
A beautiful and resonant poem
"Overall, I felt that No, Thank You was a wonderful poem to read. Its incredibly relatable, especially to girls whom have had such an experience back in high school. The problems of peer pressure are subtly addressed, and despite how unfortunate it is that the character ends up giving in to the pressure and not sustaining her ideas of her virginity, the decision she makes is one that is saddening, pitiful but yet relatable. Keep up the great work! :)"
No Thank you!
"I thought it was interesting and the style was different than most poems. Overall it was interesting."
