Really good book definitely recommend
"I like the plot of the story. I like how the girl comes from a abusive background so it can show other people that it's okay to reach out to friends for help. Beautiful book so far. 😊"
Omg
"This is so great! I love the drama, I never knew what was coming next and I hope the rest of the story comes soon! ❤️"

"I'm still reading, I stopped in the fourth chapter more so far I'm enjoying it."
There's potential!
"You've given yourself quite a difficult task - how to freshen up two very common plot threads, one of which is pretty hard to get right? I think it's the element of the music classes that makes it work, and maybe this is something you can build on more in the blurb and make more central to the story. While I don't think you have the finished product quite yet, I can definitely see you have some good writing skills, especially with the hints about Natasha's background being dropped in, and I like your touches of humour too. The main things I think you need to do to improve this is to give us more, in essence. Develop your characters more, particularly Jazz and Amanda (it may also help to spend longer introducing them, as I thought that was too brief). I also believe you're a bit of an underwriter (I once was too, welcome to the club!), so extend your descriptions as they feel a bit rushed, and it'll bump your word count up loads too. Finally, give the story a bit of a proofread as there were quite a few grammar mistakes. Well done with this, and I look forward to hearing your thoughts on Page 105! :)"
A refreshing renewal on a classic topic
"'New' by Annie E takes the new girl at a new school plot structure and gives it a renewed zeal that is alluring and definitely keeps the reader interested. As of what I have read the characters are all well developed and relatable even the supporting characters which is hard to do sometimes. Natasha's stroy especially I can't wait to find more about and how her friends help her while on thier trip. As for grammar and punctuation as far as I could tell their were no major problems. I through look over by an outside party will be just fine and I will love to read more once the story is complete."

"The story has a good plot and has an equally good reading pace. The characters seem real to me. I wanted to see more physical description in order to relate further. So far the beginning 9 chapters have been interesting leaving me wanting to read more. Keep up the good work."
Great Start
"I have to agree with Alex Rushmer on this one. When I first saw the story, I was ready for another typical new girl story, but this is definitely different and more interesting. Can you clarify for me if Helen is the aunt or just a legal guardian, because she definitely seems unrelated to them. I'd recommend having you and a couple other people go through and not only correct the typos and basic grammar/spelling errors, but also redundancies and word usage. Also, while I can't wait to learn more about Natasha, I feel we have to learn so much more about every other character and I think you could work on giving each of them more distinct character traits. Overall, please inform me when you've written more because I can't wait to learn more about the family and dad's backstory as well as see how the story progresses"
Wow!
"Chapters 1-3: This is great! I usually don't like these "new girl at school" stories, but I'm actually intrigued by this one. I love the way that you're building up the mystery of the girl's past with her father in prison and her aunt Helen. You did an excellent job of setting up amusing high school characters. I enjoyed your descriptions. Even the way that they moved and talked conveyed details about them. I'm not sure where the plot is going yet, but I'm definitely interested. I'd like to know more about the new town that she's living in, but I'm sure that's coming later. There were frequent typos and grammatical errors, but those could easily be spotted and solved with a read-through and a red pen. All in all, this is a great start! I would definitely continue reading this!"
