SYNOPSIS:
Ruby Nathan and Chase Walker are two people whose paths should never cross. Both stubborn and unrelenting, the pair's lives become entangled one fateful night at a beach party when Chase accidentally lands on Ruby's radar.
Keeping her nose out of places where it didn't belong was Ruby's number one rule. Everyone minds their business and goes about their way, she does the same. No one knew that Ruby could snap like everyone else. However, she wasn't like everyone else. For years her attention has been only on her books, refusing to give up the number 1 spot as a top performer at her school for no particular reason at all, considering, she had no idea what career she wanted to pursue.
She was stubborn like that. When the notoriously rude, sinfully handsome, brooding, no-nonsense Chase Walker, who no one at school dares to cross pushes all her buttons, her attention shifts to him, and boy does he have it all. This has Ruby banging an angry fist on Chase's door at 5am the next morning, and he doesn't like that, but neither does she.
Little does Chase know that Ruby has every intention to take him apart like an interesting puzzle and put together the pieces from scratch. Perhaps then, the boy grow an apologetic bone in his body. It was all a game of tag, seeing who could break who first. Ruby expected a lot of outcomes, but falling for the enemy was the last thing she expected.
