Em was always a shy, reclusive soul and since early childhood she'd had a powerful connection to the spirit realm. But as Em grows up, her connection moves up a notch. She is constantly plagued by spirits trying to make contact. In sheer desperation, her family seek the advice of a white witch, who teaches Em to control her gift. When at 18, she meets Ronnie, the love of her life, things settle down our troubled heroine. Little does she know, that it is only temporary and her world is about to be flipped upside down once more. Em's family disappear one-by-one. She is hellbent on finding them and must travel the length and breadth of the country in her quest. As she does so, she is helped by all kinds of spirits and Celtic Goddesses. Something else is also on a quest and determined to track her down. Will she find her missing family? Will her mysterious heritage help her to succeed? I just finished reading your story Carrie's Legacy and I loved it so much. Your writing is amazing, and I kept thinking how cool it would look as a comic.
I really loved the opening arc in Chapter 1 where Em discovers her powerful connection to the spirit realm and then begins losing family members one by one. The emotional weight of her grief and the supernatural mystery she confronts would make for striking and atmospheric comic panels mixing personal drama with supernatural visuals beautifully.
