Curious
"This is a great start to a curious love story or a tragic Macbeth! In any case, the first chapters has a good hook and I can see where the author wants to lead into with Sarah's dark secret which is definitely a cliff hanger! I kind of feel sorry for the Ayann. No, correction. I definetly feel sorry for him :( To comment. This book is written in 3rd person, which is amazing because it is a challenge in my opinion. Additionally the dialogue fits perfectly with good flow even though it's 3rd person narration. Author does a great pull between the two. "

Really Great!
"You really have a great way of conveying emotion through words which is the kind of writing I like to consume/write myself! It's funny because I actually have a similar couple in my book (so when you read it it'll be fun to see the similarities ha!) so it was cool seeing that play out in another context and relationship dynamic. I am confused as to why Ayaan would have married her if she was like this at the start of their relationship unless he's got some really really intense savior complex, and if that were the case then I would expect him to be a bit more narcissistic... But this is just the psych major in me talking. I do like the plot but I gave it four stars because I'm hoping it picks up a bit? The story has been sort of one tone, super depressing thus far with no lift and I'm waiting for the thriller aspect to come in because right now this seems more like a romantic drama than a thriller, but maybe that'll be revealed in a later chapter? Either way, I think maybe adding some bits of respite would be helpful since this is really heavy and maybe giving the reader a little more to work with would be good. Your style is great though and I didn't notice any issues with grammar. Can't wait to hear what you have to say about "Madhouse" since you clearly know what you're doing! Keep up the good work!"

"I will be honest. I was pissed off reading the book. Because of the main characters and how they act. The author is a genius in how she manipulates scenes to make the most effective of emotional damage. The story in general is depressing and overall just heart tearing, tear-jerking, a lip-biting bit of a book. I can't give it lower stars because the writing style is amazing it made me feel emotions and into the story. The plot isn't like your normal thriller and makes you want to continue reading. There weren't any grammar or spelling mistakes that I've seen. And so the overall story is a five star and up. But the reason why I'm pissed off with the story is that Sarah is so greedy and emotionally selfish while Ayaan is ignorant and just as emotionally selfish. Either way, great story would recommend to others for sure."
Intriguing and emotional
"The story had me emotionally engaging with the characters right off the bat. I like them, I want things to work out for them, and I want to know what it is that's haunting Sarah! So, I'd say it's accomplished everything the beginning of a story is meant to, and I truly look forward to seeing where the story goes :) There are a few minor prose issues and typos, but nothing major that a few rounds of edits over time shouldn't smooth out. There are also some truly beautifully bits of prose and thought here as well, and those shine through more than any of the minor issues."
Unique and Intriguing
"The storyline, the emotions, the writing. Everything about the book had an hypnotizing effect on me that I felt all the pains and emotions. Mental trauma is an issue that it not talked about regularly and I'm glad that this story is based on something that not everyone is willing to accept. This story is the real definition of uniqueness and heart-wrenching sentiments, which makes it even more interesting and intriguing. Looking forward for the rest of the book! <3"

"Amazing storyline!! You definitely have a beautiful way of writing, the character, plot, and most importantly you did justice describing her pain. The idea of Couples drifting away although one of them wants to hold on while another one finds everything to be a burden is such a bitter reality of certain relationship. I so had the urge to help her, talk to her only realising that she doesn't exist, both the characters are beautifully written, honestly. Mental trauma is real, but the pain of not being able to be there for the that one person who means everything to you is worse. I really want to know why their marriage started falling apart, where was that breaking point when everything changed. Found myself a good read. Keep updating, I want to know what happens further. Keep up the good work:-)"
Fascinating Read
"To start of, the author is extremely talented and she has a way with words. This can be seen so vividly in each of her sentences. They are woven so intricately, you can feel the emotions and the depth in every sentence. Now the characters. Both the male and female are written so well. Often times, people just notice things from the perspective of those that are hurting. But when you stay with someone with mental trauma, when you love someone with inner struggles, the suffering you go through is of a different sort. You can't help them unless they want to be helped and you can't bear to see them suffer either. It's a complicated mess which not everyone can see let alone write about. But the author has captured it beautifully. She has done a great job on describing the wife's pain too. More often than not, people tend to write about a character dealing with inner struggles. But they are unable to capture the true hurdles they are going through and as a result, their struggles feel superficial when u read it. But, the author has captured her struggle excellently . I have to say, this book has great potential AND I look forward to reading it soon."
Intriguing
"Pathak has developed her own unique writing style. I love the openings to each chapter - they read almost poetically. It lends a lot of drama and emotional tension to the story. The plot is developing at a good pace. It takes a lot of skill to know when to hold back information and when to give a little, and that's so important for any type of thriller or intrigue. It's just enough to make me have the right amount of questions. I want to know how their relationship started, why they married, how did his love develop for her, what is her secret? It's also very interesting to see the story from the husband's perspective. Generally, I'm used to reading stories like this from the wife's perspective. Seeing it from his perspective is new and makes the mystery that much deeper. There are a few grammatical errors here and there, mostly punctuation and syntax, but these could be fixed pretty easily. Overall, it is an engaging and mysterious novel. It will be interesting to see what happens next! Best wishes :)"

The author does a great job of giving hints, it keeps you guessing, It makes you wonder what it is that is troubling her, and it makes you want to keep reading to find out. "It's not everyday that you come across a story which you know has a potential to become a masterpiece; I think this has just that. Not only does the author has command over the words but she has succeeded into painting the overwhelming emotions of lead character rather beautifully.
