Tayomi Hyuga
One night a strange child was born into the Hyuga clan. Tayomi Hyuga was born with Otsutsuki chakra. Only a few members from the anbu, three members of the Hyuga clan, and Lord third knew she had a strange chakra. Hizashi, her trainer, Hiashi, her leader, and Natsu Hyuga, her guardian.
Tayomi's father died years before she was born. As for her mother, she lost her the day she was born.
Tayomi's wish is to become a strong kunoichi and one day change destiny. But it won't be an easy task. Tayomi will have to endure many hardships.
The genius shinobi has a lot to discover!
Chapter One: Tayomi Hyuga
Tayomi's Point Of View:
I woke up pale. I feel sick. I don't know why though. Well maybe it's because i stayed up training all night.
Ms. Natsu said she won't be home all day. She said she has to take care of Lady Hanabi. The girl is old enough to take care of herself. She doesn't need a babysitter. When i was her age, i already walked around the village myself.
*Knock, Knock* "Huh?" I turn around to see Ms. Natsu at my door.
"I thought you were babysitting Hanabi-sama." I say.
"I was, but i thought i'd come to ask you if you need anything, so, do you?" She asked as she walked into my room.
"Um, no, I don't." I say unsure. I did need something. I needed New kunai, shuriken, and a new katana. But i was too embarrassed to ask. I always rely on her for everything. It's embarrassing.
"Don't be afraid to ask. You can always rely on me for anything. I'll be here if you need me." Just as she was about to leave i said "I need kunai, shuriken, and a new katana. Please?"
She smiled. "Is there anything else?"
"No, that's it." I say.
"Well then. I'll be back with what you need later."
Her kindness always surprises me.
I put on my every day clothing. A gray sweater with black pants. a bandage wrapped around my right leg and short black gloves.
I decided i'll go for a walk around the village. I keep thinking about Mr. Hizashi.
It's so boring without him. He used to be my trainer. He was like a father to me. I wonder how his son is taking this.
Me and Neji-kun don't really talk. We've gotten further away from each other since Hizashi died.
If his death was hard for me it must've been worse for him.
Poor boy.
I graduated ten months early from the academy. I thought being a gennin was supposed to be fun. But all my team gets is A-Rank and C-Rank missions. I know that means we're advanced gennin but it's not enough for me.
I need more action. More challenge.
As i'm walking around the village, I hear the voice of my teammate. His name is Hikorushi. He has green eyes and brown hair. He wears his headband on his forehead. He wears a blue shirt with a dark blue jacket and gray pants with a bandage tied to his left leg and short black gloves that look a little like mine.
He's clumsy and stupid. Let's just say he's not the smartest person in the world.
"OY! Tayomi-san! We have a mission!" He yells. He didn't have to yell i was fifteen feet away from him.
I follow him to Lord Hokage's office. There I see Yukoru sensei standing listening to what Lord Hokage is saying. Next to sensei is my teammate Nerutsu.
He's alright. He's a quiet boy. I've never had any problems with him. He's very skilled too.
He has black hair and blue eyes. He wears a gray shirt and a black sweater that is always unzipped. He wears black pants with a bandage tied on his right leg and he wears his headband on his forehead.
Nerutsu looks at us when we show up to Lord Hokage's office. he stares at us for a while, sighs and turns around.
I really don't understand him.
"Yukoru, I need your team to capture four bandits that are on their way to The Hidden Waterfall. Two of the four are S-Rank shinboi, be careful." Says Lord Hokage.
Another A-Rank mission. "This is an A-Rank mission." Says Lord Third. I sigh.
Lord third gave sensei a scroll with more information about the mission. We'll leave tomorrow morning.
I walked back to the Hyuga house, once i entered my room I saw that Mr. Natsu had placed everything i needed in my bed. "Thank you." I whispered to myself.
After placing my ninja tools in my bag for tomorrow, I fell asleep.
I ate breakfast before i went out. Yukoru sensei told us to wait for him on the gates of Konoha. I was on my way to the gates when I spotted Neji-kun. But he passed me by like i wasn't there. So did I.
I stopped walking. I kept thinking if i should start a conversation. I was over thinking about it as Neji-kun got further away from me. i sighed and kept walking forward.
I got to the gates of Konoha and saw Nerutsu Standing waiting. It's not that sensei and Hikorushi are late, me and Nerutsu are always early.
I sit down at the pole by the gate waiting for Hikorushi and Yukoru.
"I'm sorry about your father." I hear Nerutsu say.
So he knows.
"He wasn't my biological father." I say.
"But he was still like a father to you wasn't he."
"Hmn. I'm surprised you heard of this. I don't really talk about it." I said.
The only time I've ever talked about it was when sensei was acting like my therapist.
I'm having a conversation with Nerutsu. This is the first time we've had a conversation. But not the first time we've talked. "But why are you apologizing?" I ask.
"Because I can understand you." Just when he said that, Sensei and Hikorushi Arrived together.
"Are you ready to go?" Asked Yukoru sensei. "Yes." I said. Nerutsu nodded. "I'm always ready" Yelled Hikorushi.
"Great" Said sensei. "Shall we go then."
We've walked for the longest time. But i don't mind. I've been in worse situations.
Suddenly, sensei stopped walking. "Huh? Sensei what's wrong. Why are we stopping?" Asked Hikorushi.
Yukoru sensei didn't say anything. I could feel someone's presence.
Someone was near.
I looked at sensei and he looked at me.
The only one who had no clue what was happening was Hikorushi. As always.
Danger was right in front of us.
"NERUTSU NOW!" Yelled sensei.
A kunai with a paper tied to it landed on the ground. A paper bomb.
Both Yukoru and Nerutsu pulled out two kunai. One of the kunai they had, had a string tied to it, the other kunai was just normal.
Yukoru and Nerutsu stabbed the kunai with the string on a tree. Both of them at a different tree.
Nerutsu gave me the other kunai. He grabbed the string from the kunai stabbed at the tree and held me close to him. He hang from the string, once we were closer to the tree I stabbed the kunai he gave me on it. I climbed to the top of the tree and sat on a tree branch.
I looked at the tree Hikorushi and Yukoru were supposed to be at. They were fine. And so was Nerutsu.
I sighed in relief. I'm glad they're fine.
"TAYOMI-SAN! NERUTSU-SENPAI! BEHIND YOU!" Yelled Hikorushi who was standing on the branch on the other tree.
For once his yelling was useful.
I quickly turn around to see a middle aged man wearing a hidden star headband. He was grinning weirdly.
He had one kunai in each hand.
I tried to use gentle fist, but I didn't hit him hard. He quickly reacted to the gentle fist somehow, and fell down the tree.
"Usara, what's taking you so long?" Said another man with a scratchy voice.
"If you can't do not one job right, i'll have to kill you. You know that right?" Said someone else. But This time it was a woman.
She looked beautiful and strong and young and fearsome unlike the other man with the scratchy voice that just looked like a sick old man.
"I just barely got here, I obviously can't take them out in two seconds." Said the man called Usara.
"Shut up, I don't need to hear your lame excuses. In fact, I should kill you right now." Said the woman.
"Tsuyuuri, please be patient." This time it was a young man, about the age of sensei. Something about him was very attractive. It wasn't just the way he looked. Maybe it was that dark expression he had on his face.
"Hn, fine." Said the woman called Tsuyuuri.
The young man stayed quiet for a while but then he said "Tsuyuuri, Usara, Koroi, retret." Just when he said that there was smoke everywhere. A smoke bomb. They left.
My byakugan wasn't working. I could hardly breathe. I noticed the smoke bomb was poisonous.
Sensei gave us all towels to breathe in. Once we caught our breaths and got away from the smoke, we were ready to talk.
"Who were those four?! Asked Hikorushi. "They must've been the bandits. There's no mistake." Said sensei as he opened up the scroll Lord Hokage had given us.
"This scroll says that the four bandits names are Tsuyuuri, Ikara, Usara, and Koroi. Ikara must've been the younger one. And this scroll says that two of the bandits are S-Rank. My guess is that Ikara is one of the S-Rank. We need to find out who the other S-Rank is." Sensei esplained.
"But what are they after? What do they want?" Asked Hikorushi.
"According to the scroll Lord Hokage gave me, they're after the diamond Shuru. This diamond is named after princess Shuruko. She died more than One hundred years ago. This diamond was precious to her." Sensei said.
"But what do they want the diamond for? Money doesn't seem to interest them." Said Nerutsu.
"This diamond is also used for killing. This diamond has a special chakra called Akuma, meaning Devil. The monstrous chakra this diamond holds is enough to defeat an entire army. Many people have tried sealing this chakra in their bodies, and all of them have failed." Sensei said.
"And, what happened to those people who tried sealing the Akuma in their bodies?" I asked.
I know what to expect.
There was silence.
"They have died." Sensei replied.
Just as I expected.
"Then why are they after the chakra, they could die! I don't get it." I said.
"They must be very skilled, skilled enough to seal the Akuma in their bodies, which is almost impossible. Said sensei. "We mustn't allow them to seal that chakra. Who knows what they're planning to do with it."
"Then what are we waiting for!? Let's go after them!" Yelled Hikorushi.
"Looking for them all night will do us no good. I could use my byakugan, but we'll eventually get tired. It'll just be a waste. We've been walking all day we need a break." I said.
"But-"
"Tayomi's right Hikorushi. Let's look for a place to camp." Said Yukoru sensei.
We built a fire and took out our sleeping bags. I sat down next to the fire to read a book.
I couldn't stop thinking about The clan. Lord Hiashi, Ms. Natsu, Mr. Hizashi, Neji-kun, and Lady Hinata.
I have a personal grudge against Lady Hinata. Or against the main family. I decided years ago to take my anger out on her for my fathers death. I just don't know it yet.
Knowing I feel this way, how must Neji-kun feel?
I kept thinking about Neji.
Why can't I ever talk to him? Why can't he ever talk to me? Why can't we ever start a conversation?
I remember the last time we talked to each other was when I was four.
"May I sit?" Asked Nerutsu.
"Yeah, sure." I say. "You haven't flipped a page. What are you thinking about?" He asked.
Great now I have to tell him.
"Neji-kun. I'm thinking about him." I say.
"Neji? Your brother?"
I sigh instead of giggling. I don't do that. Giggle in front of boys.
"Neji is not my brother. He's Mr. Hizashi's son. I say.
"But isn't he like a brother to you?"
"No. Me and Neji-kun never talk. i have no idea why."
"Here." he says giving me a rice ball.
I just remembered i didn't bring lunch.
"No. I'm fine." I'm not.
"Take it. You didn't bring lunch right? Take it."
How does he know that?! "Fine."
I smile a little bit. I hardly ever smile. It's weird.
