Dear People of the World,
I was 15 years old when I had my second brush with this topic. I want everyone to know that it hurts. If you’re thinking about this topic, please make sure you know there are people who care about you out there in the world.
If you feel like you’re alone, please know that these poems were written the night I got the news. March 2019 to April 2022 and it still hurts when I think about it. Please, check up regularly with people. This experience is why I check in with people more times than they want me too.
