TW: mentions of suicide In the spring of 2019, one of of the people I was becoming friends with decided to say goodbye to the world. I wrote these poems for her and I'm sharing them on here to make sure people know the other side of the story. I think about her all of the time and I miss her. Dear People of the World,

I was 15 years old when I had my second brush with this topic. I want everyone to know that it hurts. If you’re thinking about this topic, please make sure you know there are people who care about you out there in the world.
