Untitled chapter
Rohan was going camping. He was going to a forest that he never went to before. As he climbed to the top of a large hill, he got a great view of the ocean of trees. Rohan had an iron shortsword in case he met any bandits or predators.
He had a large backpack full of food, supplies, torches, flint and steel, a wool rug to sleep on, and a tent pack. He also had a woodcutting ax for firewood. Rohan came all alone, as he had no wife or children.
Rohan entered the large, unnamed forest. He started to search for a good camping area, which would be an opening, with nearby water. It took him around 10 minutes to find the perfect spot. It was a medium-sized opening with a pond very close by.
Now, Rohan had to find the right-sized trees for firewood. He got his woodcutting ax and started looking for good firewood. As he was searching, Rohan found a diary; a bloody diary. He picked the diary up and put it in his pocket. So, Rohan started to cut down the tree. He got a decent-sized log and returned to camp. When he got to the camp, he split the log in 4.
It started to get darker out. Rohan put the tent up and laid the fur rug in the tent. He set the logs down and lit the fire. Rohan took the bloody diary out of his pocket and read it.
Dear diary, I am going camping in this forest, I am excited about this! This feels like a brand new adventure for me, especially after being cooped up in the College of Winterhold as a novice for an entire month! Hopefully, the new magic spells I learned will help me defend myself in the forest, I brought a dagger just in case I get exhausted from using so much magic.
I will update here once I am through my first night here.
Dear diary, Last night, while I was in my tent, I heard constant thumping, so I had to cancel out my candlelight spell and fall asleep in the dark.
Dear diary, while I was at the pond today, I saw some giant monster across from me, it was at least the size of a house. I ran as fast as I could, thankfully, it did not notice me. I will write down more on this later.
Dear diary, I donât have much more time to live. The giant monster found me, and it tried smashing me, I used my fire spell on it, but it did not do a thing to it. I am hiding behind a tree. Oh no. I hear it coming.
The rest were scribbles.
The night that Rohan read that, he couldnât fall asleep. He could picture a giant monster crushing him. In the morning, he heard a large thumping. He quickly pulled his iron sword out. He started to quietly search the area. He regretted that he didnât.
A giant, large, bulky, gray monster looked into Rohanâs eyes.
The monster was faster than Rohan expected, and he didnât think his iron sword would be able to defeat it. So instead, he ran for his life.
The monster quickly caught up to him and pushed him onto the ground. Rohan couldnât get up in time; the monster was already looming above him, staring into his soul. Rohan surprise attacked him and slashed it with his sword, but it broke on the giant.
The monster slashed Rohan twice ending him. The monster growled and walked away, going back to the pond. Rohan was just another unfortunate soul to enter the forest.
