Katie and her family had moved to the blood moon pack for two years now, she was in her last year of high school before it was time to head off to college. She still didn't know what she wanted to major in but she knew for a fact that she wanted to go to college mate or not. In the two years that she and her family have been in the pack they never met the alpha son Quan, he was suppose to return the same year that Katie and her family became a member of the blood moon pack but didn't, the alpha did not state why his son didn't come home considering he was supposed to take over the running of the pack but no one dare ask the alpha but there was speculation that he ran off to be free since he was still a growing boy, but not to his father and alpha who consider the age of twenty as the right age to take over the running of the pack, it was stated also that the soon to be alpha Quan had gone to college and also to learn the role of being an alpha but what pack members were saying was that he was suppose to be finished with college considering he went off to college pretty early because he was way advanced than kids his own age. Katie didn't listen in on what was going on around the pack, after all she was trying to fit in to the pack considering it was just her and her mom her dad passed away by an illness that her mom did not disclose. It was now in the middle of October and the time was getting more chilly it was in the evening and Katie was sitting by the desk in her room she had gotten a home work to write on mates and she didn't know where to start she was caught between wanting a mate and not wanting one so it was making it hard for her to write on the subject which kept her up through out the night. Katie did not get the allotted amount of sleep she required and she was not ready for school or the information her friend latty had about the alpha son Quan being back, she was trying to get her books from her locker when latty came with the news.
"Oh my god Katie, the Alpha son is hooooooot! He's my dream man that body, I wonder if he would go out with me considering he hasn't found his mate yet I think we would make a cute couple and our kids, don't get me started on how they would look, Katie you need to see the Alpha son he got my panties wet and I'm not talking a little wet I mean wet wet. " closing her locker she turn to her friend
" No thanks I don't need to see some egotistical soon to be alpha he can continue having your panties wet I however like mine dry. " with that she walk off to class with her friend tagging along since they had the same classes together as latty reply;
" Well we don't always get what we want because you will be seeing the soon to be alpha considering he will be training us in defense class and I don't mind you not having your panties wet by Quan since he'll be mine shortly. "
Katie didn't reply they had reached their class room and their teacher was already inside, they went straight to their seat. Throughout the day the gossip was about Quan, Katie didn't know how much more she could take before she would scream, Quan was the topic throughout the cafeteria he was on every girl lips even boys were impressed with Quan it's rumored that he's in the school but she hadn't seen him nor did she want to which was a lie her interest was peek with all she was hearing about him she wanted to see what was so special about him that had even teachers talking about him she had even seen a few female teachers straightening their clothes and applying make up. The bell rang signaling lunch was over time for defense class, she was late she didn't want to go but knew she had to slowly she made her way to the room that look like a gym room the closer she got to the room the more she smelt an alluring scent that had her wolf purring and her heart beating at an abnormal rate she didn't know why she was anxious. The door to the room half of it was covered in glass so she could look through it there she saw the tall built of a man his back was facing her
"where is Katie Shaw? " that had her heart missing a beat when out of nowhere her friend reply
" She will be here shortly sir. " with that she turned back to her sparring partner while Quan nod his head in acknowledgement to her friend response, suddenly his head turn in her direction as their eyes made contact Katie gasp with the shocking recognition of what he was to her, she did the first thing that came to mind she ran.
