Leanna
Dear Leanna,
They say an artist can capture a moment in time. He just has to see something, and he can paint it, sometimes from memory, but sometimes the thing he is painting has to be right in front of him.
I am not an artist of memory- I'm not an artist at all. I am a writer, which is why I am writing this down. I can make an average painting if the object I have in mind is right in front of you, but when we had to draw portraits of one of our classmates in Art, even though you were right in front of me, laughing with your friends and talking to the boys that liked you, I couldn't draw you. Because when I'm with you, my hands get clammy and I can't even draw a straight line. I ended up doing a drawing of one my friends instead.
You are beautiful. Never forget.
I wish you happiness,
Trixie.
