Summary

Her face, small and cherry-like, with a button nose. Once she was a topper, who always managed to top the class. Every test, everything about her studies was perfect. She had always heard of her parents wanting her to be a doctor. In fact, she developed the passion to be a doctor as well. She was not only a topper in her grades, her artistic talents are equally remarkable. Her paintings and sketches capture the imagination, each stroke reflecting a depth of creativity and perspective that is rare and captivating, but she left those of her skills uncherised because her parents were against them. According to them these activities of hers are wasting her precious time which she should devote to her studies and eventually, she agreed to them, leaving behind her favorite hobbies, she left all those things which, according to her would divert her attention from studies and would refrain her achieving her goals. She left her friends she stop going to outings. She restricted self to walls of her room. Nothing helped her, though she lost the glitter and the smile she always would have on her face failing entry test was getting to her mental health, but she keep trying. Every day was the same for her, bringing no positive impact on her life. Now she was sitting on her prayer mat, her hands cupped together as she bowed her head to the ground, seeking for mercy from Allah and asking for guidance and solace in her life. She didn’t know how and when her life would come to this point where all her hard work, all her efforts to be something that her parents dreamed of for her are becoming futile. She’s tired. This phase of her life is giving her nothing but grief. She wants her life like ordinary students, but to her dismay, the failures she faces after hard work is bringing no good to her. Instead, this is bringing her mental health to depression. She’s almost exhausted. She’s trying to live but the pressure to be what her parents’ dream is like a rock on her shoulder which is not letting her move and think like a free person should . Mocking of her own siblings, their new ways to degrade her and bully her are doing nothing good to her
