Okay

"I thought the way you started was very good. Your analogy was great. Because this was a short story I enjoyed it there were many good points to it the only thing I can say that might need improvement is to be.just a bit more descriptive especially with the gift that was received that seemed to turn the story around to a positive note. You also need to work on emotions describe more the pain your main character feels and the struggle. Other than that good job."

A charming, short story.

"The way Mrs. Rahman turned the story from dark and dreary to inspiring and cheerful, was commendable. Grammar could do with improving, but it doesn't take away from the uplifting tale."

Inspired

"I loved this so much. It's wonderful, albeit short. The only thing I can really say besides that, is that I wish you had gone into more detail. You did great! Thanks for being an inspiration."

Wonderful Story!

"The Silver Lining story is an inspiration to all the disabled as well as the ordinary people who face difficulties in their lives. The way you've described the story is truly a brilliant work. Your technical writing is good here but needs a little bit of polishing. Then, you'll have a perfect story ready to share the message you've tried to tell here. Good luck with your future stories and keep up the writing :-)"

Well done

"The message you wanted to send was clear and concise but it felt too rushed. For more emotionally blunt individuals like myself it would require a tad bit more detail. I think an extra 400 words of details and reliability between the read and writer will help this along. I dont see this as a standalone obviously but maybe a book of motivation or proverbs with this mixed in. Anyway good job keep up the good writing."

Beautiful Comparison

"I loved reading this, as it was beautifully written. i especially loved the way you opened the story, describing the proverb and putting it into context. There were a few mistakes here and there, but overall, it was really well written! Nice! The only thing I would also encourage is making the story longer. Maybe you could have a chapter (the start) describing the proverbs. Then, maybe a scene with the accident, being sheperded away, and then the events which led up to Mrs. Rahman coming, for example: the pitiful glances cast by former friends etc. Of course, this is optional, but I really think it would make a difference: I would just add in more detail. Also, the first chapter didn't end satisfactorily- I think it would be better if the whole thing was in a chapter, or you split the two chapters somewhere else. Apart from that, like I said, it was a beautiful read and you write with a supremely pleasant style!"

I enI

"I enjoyed the story but I can't help feeling there should be more. detail. Like it will be great to have a conversation between her and the teacher who presented her with a gift. I will this will make a profound effect on the reader,"

Sweet and Inspiring

"The connection and hold "Silver lining" aspect was well thought out and done. The story idea is great and inspiring, especially for those with disabilities. I'd work on adding more about the characters and who they are and what makes them distinct besides their disability. Also, a lot of the story felt like it was someone explaining certain events in their life and it may've been better to show what happened with some suspense or something. Overall, great concept and message with some grammar and other tidbits to work out!"

Uplifting

"A strong story of hope and courage. I find myself enjoying short stories more just because of the busy schedule that life produces. This made a great, uplifting read. Some points I had trouble with the flow of sentences and grammar, but nonetheless it was a good story.."

Inspirational

"Beautiful and Inspirational. I can't seem to describe it in any other way.I was moved by it and I would like to thank you for penning down an inspirational and unique plot. I would have loved to know more about the characters, and that remains my only critique. Great job on the plot. It's unlike any other story I have read. I would definitely read your other stories after this."

Inspirational

"I love how you incorporated the silver lining idea into your story. It was inspirational and uplifting. I truly enjoy your writing. I wish you would have elaborated just a bit more. There are a few grammatical errors but nothing a quick edit wouldn't fix. Keep writing!"
