In the beginning Elise and her family were visiting Transylvania in the summertime. She is a seven year old little vampire girl. She is enjoying making sandcastles while her mom and dad are standing on top of the lighthouse enjoying the view.

Suddenly she hears her dad shouting and she looks up in horror to see her mom plummeting towards the sharp rocks on the edge of the shore. She started crying and running towards her mom. Her dad quickly came down from the lighthouse and hugged Elise holding her tightly while they both cried. “I'm so sorry, I couldn't save her. She just got so close to the edge.” “I'm going to miss my mom so much.”

“I am too, but for now we are stuck here since we already rented out Dracula's castle for our vacation. We don't have the money to go home right now. The police should help us and then we will have to go back to the castle for the night.” Her dad called the police and explained that it was an accident and they said they had to investigate but they were allowed to head back for the night.

So they headed back to the castle for the night. “This place is creepy.” She said. “This place is perfect for us, we are vampires. Let's have dinner. There is deer meat, fruit, and cow's blood. “I'm not hungry or thirsty, dad.” “Are you sure?” “Yes dad I'm going to bed.” “Ok goodnight Elise.” He said kissing her on the cheek. “Goodnight dad.” She went into her bedroom to go to sleep and suddenly Dracula appeared in the room. She screamed. “No need to be afraid. I'm a vampire like you. I won't hurt you.“ “Don't drink my blood.” She said sternly. “Don't worry you are too young for me. Perhaps when you are older we can drink each other's blood.” “Isn’t drinking blood evil?” she questioned.

“Not if the person is willing.” “I only want to drink animal blood.” she replied. “Your sweet I hope you are never forced to drink human blood. When you are older though, I still would like to drink your blood.” “When I'm older that would be ok.” She replied. “I hope to see you again.” He said kissing her on the forehead.

They said their goodbyes, then he vanished. Fast forward to Elise’s 15 th birthday. She went down to the kitchen for some breakfast. “I love you, happy birthday!” Her dad said, giving her a hug. “Thank you Dad I love you too.” “I need you to sit down because I need to discuss something with you. Now that you are 15 I want you to drink the blood of a human.” “Dad, I don't want to drink human blood. It's like Dracula said once you drink someone's blood you want it more and more. It can turn you into a monster.”

“I'm going to be honest with you, if you don't do this I will kill you. “No you wouldn't.” “Yes I would now go find someone to bite or else.” She ran out of the house crying and just wandered around in the forest hopelessly. Suddenly someone approached her. “Hello young lady, you look sad. Would you like me to drink your blood so you feel less heavy?”

“My name is James by the way," he said, showing his fangs. “James, I need your help. My dad wants to see me drink someone's blood or he will kill me, but I don't want to. Could you pretend I'm drinking your blood?” “Yes, if I can drink your blood whenever.” “Deal.” She replied. They went back home together. They went inside.”Dad, I found a vampire friend.” “Excellent, now you can drink each other's blood.” “James wrapped his arms around her waist and bit her neck. Her blood was sweet. He stopped after a minute. Then Elise held him and bit his neck and pretended to drink. “You were faking it, now I must kill you.” Her dad said holding up a silver dagger

Suddenly Dracula appeared. Him and James barred their fangs at her dad. Elise started crying. “I love you so much dad, please don't kill me.” She begged. He broke down and dropped the dagger. “I won't hurt you. Can you forgive me?” He asked. “Yes dad I love you.” She said hugging him. “I'm sorry for ruining your birthday too.” “It's your birthday? I'm sorry I didn't get you anything.” Said James. “It's ok, your friendship is enough.” She replied. “Elise you will receive my gift later.” Said Dracula. “Can I have Dracula and James over for dinner every night?” “That's up to them.” “We would love to.” They said in unison.

Soon dinner was ready. Everyone had a glass of elk blood, with elk meat and veggies. “Dad, thank you for accepting me for who I am.” “Of course I love you.” Soon everyone finished their dinner. “I gotta go bye Elise.” Said James as he kissed her on the cheek. Then he left. “I'll see you later tonight.” Said Dracula. “I can't wait.” She replied. She said goodnight to her dad and went into her room.

Suddenly Dracula appeared on the side of her bed. “For your birthday I will drink your blood and you will feel relaxed. He lifted the hair from her neck. He bit into her neck and she started feeling so comfortable. He drank for a few minutes. Then he stopped. *Did you enjoy that?” “Yes very much.” Thank you for making my birthday wonderful.” “Can I drink your blood everyday?” “Yes.” “Great, I'll see you tomorrow.” He said kissing her on the cheek.

He vanished. She slept soundly for the night. The next morning she got up, got dressed and ate a quick breakfast. “Dad, I'm going to James’s house today.” “Ok have fun.” He replied. She went outside and realized she doesn't know where he lives. So she took a walk into town instead. She picked up a newspaper. The headline had a picture of her dad. It read “vampire kills wife.” She was shocked. She started crying. Underneath was a caption. It read “Eight years ago, on top of a lighthouse a vampire pushed his wife off the edge. She died on impact. The witness was behind the couple, waiting his turn to view the sea from the top. The witness did not come forward until now because he was scared.

She began looking around for James to help her. She was distraught. “Why are you crying?” He asked as he held her in his arms. He ran his hands up and down her back trying to soothe her. “I just found out my dad killed my mom.” “Don't worry I'll be right by your side.” “I'm going to confront him right now.” They walked back to the castle and Dracula was picking flowers for her. Elise hugged him crying. He wrapped his arms around her. “I just found out my dad killed my mom.”

“Ok I'm here for you.” They went inside. “Dad, I know you killed my mom. How could you do that? She said crying. “I'm sorry I wasn't in my right mind but I'll never hurt you or anyone again.” “Ok dad I believe you. “ She said, hugging him. When she hugged him he bit into her neck taking her by surprise. He drained her blood and she fell to the floor dead. Jame's and Dracula run after him and drain him dry. Then James turned on Dracula and ran him dry of his blood.

Epilogue

James goes on to rid the world of evil vampires that kill everyone that they see. He teaches the rest who will listen to be good vampires who are productive citizens. James finally kills himself with a dagger so he can be with Elise. They join up together in the afterlife and live there happily ever after.
