Brilliant
"I'm really confused. This is perfect. I really need more resolution. And that's what makes this story perfect. It leaves you with just as much need for resolution that the main character needs. The writing style is perfect for the story. I loved it."
Funny as hell
"OK, the plot is awesome, I like it. I adore the main character, finally someone who is brave enough to create a character who doesn't give a rat's ass about anything, the most important thing to him is food. I like the description of the battle in that alley, it's kind of vivid, it's great! And I like the reactions in the story, they are real and easily imaginable. All in all, the first chapter is really good! :)"
The Slam Decision
"This excerpt promises a Quick and Clever and Kick Ye in the nuts funny read. I'm away to the Paper Shop for this one. From Antipasto to Antihero and a Girl with imaginary weaponry, unlike Karaoke singers with imaginary talent hers drip with blood. Yep! Worth the effort to get to the back page me thinks."
The Slam Decision
"I love the bantering back and forth between the main character and the antagonist. She has a major need for his help but he is trying his best to ignore the fact. It is fast paced action once I get pasted the difference between the types of slam breakfast. I want to read more to see where this goes with the invisible enemy being killed by imaginary weapons. Makes me want to go HMMMMM!!!"
Humorous and Lively
"Some say humor and fantasy is an oddball, but they must not have read "The Slam Decision." Trying to squelch laughter while sitting in a living room when everyone else is asleep was almost an impossible task. I grinned through the whole ordeal. Normally, I find profanity an obstacle when I read but randallfitzgerald put it in precisely the right places with the right timing. I believe anyone would swear at such an unbelievable turn of events, including myself. There was a few grammar errors throughout that bothered me and I wished the story was longer because I really want to know what is going to happen and why things are imaginary. Overall, a great, quick read that I'm rather fond of!"
Comments
"I found the whole concept of imagining something to reality very interesting. However, I found the story a little difficult to follow. Some of the sentence were very compound; like when the lead character is annoyed about the difference between a grand slam and lumberjack slam. I do think a second read and edit could dot the Is and cross the Ts for a more structured read."
