Spacious and incredibly cute apartment, near the subway on the … street, is in great need of a goodhearted and punctual in his payments tenant. It doesn’t discriminate by age, race, gender or sexual orientation. It doesn’t mind a furry friend or two either and kids are always a joy.

I scoffed at the ridiculous advertisement. Who writes stuff like that and expects their house to be rented?
I could bet that the sickly cuteness of the text was to obscure the fact that it didn’t mention the price. In the neighborhood where it was located it was sure to be high, especially when the words spacious, cute and subway were mentioned.
I scanned the newspaper for more ads.
Surely there would be a rathole I could pay for.
