LEAMER'S POV.
I was very tired eagerly waiting for the airplane to reach where it was supposed to, plus i stayed awake the last night partying with my friend's just to say goodbye because i was leaving for good back home, i bet my dad missed me i also missed my brother so i had to work from home.
My tiredness increased when i saw the guy next to me looking at me much more with those lustful eyes, i hated it. Why on the earth did every man had to look with those eyes when it comes to girls? I hated them for that. At last we reached and i left the aeroplane as fast as i could and walked away after finishing everything which needed to be done.
I didn't expect anyone to pick me from there since my family was a very busy one, dealing with all sort of businesses, i mean legal one's. So i had to go home on my own, taken by suprise i heard a familiar voice calling my name out loud.
"Leamer! Hey leamer!"
I turned just to see my big brother lucio who was waving a hand with a smirk on his face.
"Lucio! Is that even you?" I said while heading to his side and when i reached him he hugged me while playing with my haur.
"Trovaille indeed"
"I can see. So why did you have to fetch me?"
"I had some free time so i decided to help you save some cash" he said as he laughed at me.
"Why? It's not like i only depend on my father's bank accounts only, i work remember" i said with hypocrisy and he answered me same.
"Plus you are about to be twenty four, what an elder girl i got here"
"So you have good memory now days?"
"I guess"
"You have even grown taller" i said trying to measure our heights difference.
"As if i was short"
"You won't stop teasing me, will you? Let's get going am tired, pack the suitcases i am a guest today"
I opened the door of the passenger seat at the front and made myself at home waiting for lucio to finish packing then he joined me inside the car and started the engine.
"So how many children do you have already?"
"Just five years away and you think i have a family?"
"Don't tell me you aren't even married yet?"
"Neither engaged " he said smirking.
"Like serious? Then what do you do? I mean special?" He turned his face to me, again with a smirk and i got the answer.
"Roaming around with one night stands?"
"It's fun" this idiot never quits being a play boy, does he?
"If someone hears this, he might think that i am the older one here"
"So what about you?" What did he even mean by that?
"What about me?" I asked back since i didn't know what he meant.
"Are you in a relationship? Oh...why am i even asking while i know you might even have grand childrens?"
"Idiot!"
Finally we reached home and i just had to greet the security and went inside to greet Nancy who is my nani...i mean was my nani after my mom died from the car accident when i was just five.
"My girl, you are back" Nancy shouted as she started running my way embracing me in a right hug, I really missed her. So i decided to voice it out.
"I missed you Nancy"
"Not anymore?" She asked feighning disappointment.
"I still do, i miss you very very much Nancy"
"Me too my dear, i was cooking your favourite meal, you might have had it rarely when you weren't home"
"Oooh! So considerate, you are right anyway"
"Look at you now, you have grown up, you even look sexy" she said looking me up and down.
"No, stop it Nancy, don't lie at her" again lucio came to attack me.
"He won't stop teasing me Nancy"
"I see, lucio stop teasing my dear one, or else you want me to cane you at that age" lucio laughed hugging Nancy.
"So where could that old man of mine be?"
"He isn't home yet" Nancy replied me.
"Fine then, i will be in my room taking a bath, resting and some sort of things"
"Sure, i will escort you" Nancy helped me to carry my things to my room, i really missed home, my room, i let myself on my bed and i didn't even know when i had fallen asleep and just like that it was morning already and Nancy was infront of me smiling.
"Nancy! Did i over slept?" I asked panicked.
"No worries my dear, you were tired but you missed dinner"
"Oh! Sorry Nancy, but i am fine now"
"Mr. Lemiere wants to see you"
"Is he ready for work?" I asked.
"No, he is getting breakfast first"
"Fine, i will be down before he finishes"
"I'will let hom know" Nancy went away leaving me alone as i get off the bed to put myself in a way to start a new day and after that i went to meet him. He was sitting so i just kissed his cheek and sat beside him facing my brother Lucio.
"Good morning!" I was the first one to greet.
"You realky have grown up now, no clinging onto dad anymore?"
"You have become old, so i won't tire you with that" I said as i raised his hand to my lips kissing it.
"Lucio did you hear that?"
"Mrs. Unbeatable, i guess, but i don't blame her that much, you raised her into the lioness she is, didn't you?" Lucio teased back getting back at dad, atleast he took my side this time.
"Stop now" i had to interfere between these men.
"So what about the business now? Dad asked ready for bussiness talk and we all went serious.
"I will take tommorow as a day off as well and count me in the day after tommorow"
"I want that same confidence you are showing here when you enter in the office"
"It's a deal done, those five years gave me the best experience i could ever had, so you guys have to trust me"
"What made you so confident little cat?" Lucio asked me looking a bit proud. What? Wait....did i say proud? Since when has he ever been proud of me?
"You two being away from me made me realise many things including this"
"So you will be incharge of the importing company from now onwards, you won't see me unless am needed"
"That's fine by me"
"Lucio, i guess nothing is wrong in the construction company?" Dad asked lucio.
"Absolutely nothing"
"So where do i get each and every information which concerns each vehicle imported within last year? Is it from you dad?"
"I can't do that, am too bust leamer and you know that, so i will get someone to do that"
"People aren't trustworthy these days, you taught me that yourself remember?"
"This person has won my trust" i was wondering who that person was when lucio spoke first.
"Mr. Hermsthworth?"
"Yeah!" Dad replied to lucio with a smile and remained fazed, who could this mr. Hermsworth be.
"You don't have any option but to trust him" lucio said that direct to me.
"Is that a threat lucio?"
"I will let you meet him tomorrow, i trust him with every info" dad told me.
"I will see about that" the breakfast ended with business talks and sort of conversation until i excused myself, i really took the day off from there i slept and rested, cleared my head organised everything needed for my new position and just like that the day was over.
A new day was in, i went out after taking breakfast, then i went shopping for everything i will need, clothes, shoes, handbags and other things, i just texted dad that i will meet them, i mean him and Mr. So called Hermsworth at 4:45pm at an open place where dad sent me the address. But then the shopping thing got the best of me and i ended up reaching to the place where we agreed to meet at 4:50, i got late by 5 minutes, it wasn't a big deal anyway, so i parked my car and went where i should be.
I greeted officially generalised my dad and Mr. Hermsworth while taking my seat as i was facing my dad and Mr. Hermsworth beside me wearing full office attire and i guessed he came from work without asking him.
"Good evening" i greeted both.
"Good evening" only my dad returned back the greeting i gave.
The response just come from my father only so i had to look at the face of that Mr. Hermsworth to see what made him not responding to my greeting.
What i thought was that maybe he got overwhelmed by my beauty cause i often caught men like that, so i turned to him with a sharp gaze only to find him looking at me lazily like he is not interested in anything, those gray eyes weren't interested in me and that hurted me a little bit, he didn't remove his gaze from mine as he started to speak.
"I don't have any interest working with people who don't respect time miss whoever you are"
And that...was the whole kind of shit i ever received, i never liked using my title to be prioritized or gain respect but this miss whoever??? Didn't he really know my name? Didn't dad mentioned it already? Did he say he won't work with me? If i am not mistaken i'm the boss, right? I mean he should be the one who wishes to work with me and not otherwise.
"It's just five minutes Mr. Hermsworth" i said after the long silence from my side.
And he smiled, but his smile didn't reach his eyes.
"Do you know what i can do within those five minutes?" That was a rhetorical question but i was going to answer it anyway.
"I can't guess" i answered simply.
"You better" and that was it.
