PROLOGUE
In the outskirts of the city lay a vast barren land filled with abandoned buildings, a half way constructed park that seems to have broken swings placed in it, with left over car parts scattered around.
Such a desolate scene and in an empty space, in front of a few buildings stood a chair on which a person seems to have been placed with her hands tied together and a brown knitted bag covered her head.
Tears were streaming down her face as she felt her heart breaking in agony. How could he do this to me?
I hate you Shivaay, I hate I fell for you. I wish I had never met you, never gone to that wedding, never looked at you but ....regrets can’t make me go back in time.
She raged in her heart as she felt her breath slowing down, her body more sluggish by each minute passing by. She looked back to all the memories of them together that her mind was playing and a deep mocking feeling was felt in her heart, as if the person in her memories would suddenly turn around and laugh at her, saying -you are such a fool Jasna, to think that I would actually love you? Are you mad? I only married you for your body and nothing else. You were just a tool of pleasure for me!
Along with sorrow, there were hatred and resentment also floating in her eyes, so deep and intense but no one could see it at the moment, especially the one who was the target of it for he was too far away in the city from this place.
I wish you hell, Shivaay. May you rot in hell! If I don’t die today, trust me, I’ll make you regret ever looking at me!
As her eyes were about to close, a last whisper let her lips, “God, please help me.”
On this hand, Shivaay raced his car against the winds as he accelerated the speed even more, recklessly driving through the narrow roads of the city.
Just as he reached the abandoned grounds, his gaze went around to find her as his car drifted and came to a sharp stop upon which he immediately jumped down and ran forward, shouting, “JASNA!”
He looked around as other cars also came driving from various sides and parked beside his car before people got down from them, forming a strict pattern, their form and attitude subservient to Shivaay as they all seemed to be standing with their backs straight and weapons in their hands, waiting for Shivaay’s order.
Shivaay ran around as the men followed him and soon, he heard the sound of a bullet being shot.
He ran forward in the direction from where the sound came.
He had a bad feeling in his heart, his legs almost trembled. It seemed as if a voice in his heart was telling him not to go further but he did and soon, his eyes caught sight of a smoke filled area, with a vague figure seen sitting on some sort of wooden chair, head covered with dark brown bag and although, Shivaay didn’t who it was, more like he didn’t want to know or else he’ll break down right at this moment, however, he still stepped forward. There seemed to be some kind of bomb attached to the body of that tied person.
Is...is that Jasna?
The people behind him saw the scene and their expressions tensed. The leader of the team seemed to hesitate before speaking, “Master, could that be Madam?”
*Boom*
Just a second after he spoke, an explosion sounded as Shivaay saw the figure being blasted into shreds right in front of his eyes and an instinctive scream left his mouth as he accelerated his speed and jumped towards her,
“JASNAAAAA!”
He ran like a mad man into the fire that was rapidly spreading around and his men tried to stop him but they could not.
“No! No, no, no, no, noooooo!”
His loud roar sounded as he wished he could teleport to her in a second. “You can’t die! No, YOU CAN’T DIE JASNA!”
