Summary

Niele’s life is normal—until the dreams begin. Strange and vivid, they leave her with the unsettling sense that something is watching. Soon, reality shifts—flickering lights, whispers in empty rooms, and the eerie feeling of being followed. Her best friend, Kenna, brushes it off but seems too concerned. Liam, her ex, lingers in the shadows, watching her too closely. And then there’s Michael—charming, mysterious, and inexplicably drawn to her, as if he knows something she doesn’t. Meanwhile, in the darkness, a powerful Queen watches, her enforcers—the Fractured—moving closer. Their leader, Vesper, is relentless, her mind-control abilities making resistance futile. Their mission is clear: find the girl.

Prologue

Off in the middle of the Celestial Sea somewhere lies a kingdom, where the buildings stood tall draped in gold and of people who lived there were covered in the finest of garments. In fact, it was said that people would rejoice every night, for the people LOVED their King and the Queen.

The King adored his Queen so much that they bore three beautiful girls.

Clara, who is the eldest, was a force to be reckoned with, and an ill-tempered, but a natural born leader. She held the ability to manipulate objects with her mind, making her a fierce yet talented warrior. She did not rely on her gift alone but her physique as well.

Then came Nádia who was the middle child, a more mellow, book smart, know-it-all. She possessed the ability to freeze her opponents with just a snap of her fingers. She often keeps Clara levelheaded when it comes to interrupting her rampages.

Even though her sisters were the most beloved throughout the kingdom, they all paled in comparison to Liv, who took after their mother. Like their mother Liv was soft spoken, nurturing and quite timid. Being the most passive of the three, Liv was also born with no ability, leaving her sisters to always protect her...

The Queen loved her daughters very much, but when an illness took the King, she fell into great despair. Leaving the kingdom unprepared for a great evil that had been lurking. In effort to protect her kingdom’s future and her daughters’ lives the Queen gather her remaining strength and sent them off into the world of man, praying that they will survive.
