Summary

Isla Watson can't stand hockey players. Not that anybody knows that. To the outside world, she's a hockey aficionado, running a successful social media account that goes behind the scenes of the NHL's Saskatoon Storm. The only thing colder than her 'Isla on Ice' page is her relationship with her brother's teammate, who resents everything about social media. When a rival team's goalie gives Isla a deliberately wrong number, she finally has a chance to take a break from putting on a show for the camera and let someone see the real girl behind the screen. Seb Cooper has a reputation for dropping the gloves. His fight on the ice is only matched by his battle with his D-partner's gorgeous sister. She's just another 'influencer' who prioritises internet clout over real connections. Fortunately, the girl on the other end of his phone is far more down to earth, and he can finally talk to someone without worrying about ulterior motives. When Isla is tasked with creating a video series about learning to skate, an injured Seb is assigned as her teacher.
