I was walking out of the plane thinking of ways to explain my sudden disappearance.... maybe I could say I finally decided to go to rehabI laughed to myself like anybody would believe that I thought to myself rolling my eyes. I got inside of the arrival airport expecting to see a load of people waiting for my arrival. Instead, I saw... my sister? I stopped in my tracks “Where is everybody?”I said to my sister “That’s what you’re gonna say to me after disappearing for a month with no warning?”she scoffed as she walked away before I caught up to her “i’m sorry you’re right I should have called I should have told you”she stopped and looked at me “where were you?” “I just had to get away I’m sorry I didn’t call” I replied a bit nervously. She sighed before replying “Fine i’m just glad you’re back”she said giving me a hug before pulling away “As for everybody let’s just say a lot has changed since you left". I gasped and hugged him “Chuck!” he hugged me back and laughed “I missed you too doll”. I laughed looking around to see if my best friend Olivia was around “Where’s Olivia?” he ran a hand through his hair before continuing "Ariel, when you left many people wanted to take your place-” I cut him off. “Well that’s cute, but they can’t” I shrugged my shoulders before narrowing my eyes “wait what does this have to do with Olivia?” “She’s kind of...” he paused “She’s kind of you now” I dropped my jaw and scoffed before shouting “WHAT?!” chuck put his hand over my mouth and laughed "Hey, it’s not everything right? Let’s just get you home” my sister who was standing idly by nodded her head and left seeing as chuck was gonna give me a ride. In the car my mind was racing...“I can’t believe that bitch thinks she can be me”a dry chuckle slipped out of my throat. Chuck pulled over and looked at me before sighing and cupping my face brushing my cheek softly “Forget about Olivia for now...I missed you” he said lowly before kissing me. I sighed and pulled away “I know I missed you too”. The rest of the ride home we caught up more and when we arrived at my house he had told me how there was gonna be a party tonight and he left something for me on my bed... it was a beautiful silver sparkly dress, I threw it on and went to my sisters room. “How do I look?” “Absolutely beautiful”she replied smiling at me.“Where’s dad?”I asked as I hadn’t seen him.“He’s on a work trip who knows until when”she rolled her eyes and I just scoffed“It’s fine who needs him when we have each other?”I see the dresses laid out on her bed“wear the blue one it’s perfect for you” I said before leaving the room. Later on I go to the party where I see Chuck and then I see... Olivia. I narrowed my eyes before going up to her.“Hey Olivia... didn’t see you when I arrived” she crossed her arms before replying “Yeah, and I didn’t even get informed that you were leaving you just left” I rubbed my eyes sighing“I’m sorry-" she cut me off “It doesn’t matter anyway, I just hope you don’t think you can pick up where you left off this city’s mine now”she said giving me a fake smile before walking away. I scoffed and rolled my eyes before heading to the bar grabbing myself a drink... and then more drinks before getting a text on my phone from Antonio who was a sketchy guy who helped me out with something before I disappeared. [Meet me in ten minutes... you know where.] my heart dropped but I knew I had to go.

I met with Antonio at the doc and he came up to me and hugged me beforeI pulled away. “I’m not here for that Antonio what did you need” I said to him maybe a bit more rudely than needed. He rolled his eyes “I just wanted to tell you that all the evidence of that night has been wiped... no one will ever find him.” I exhaled and closed my eyes before opening them and smiling “thank you Antonio I owe you one” he nodded his head "You know I can never say no to you, Ariel. ”he said before disappearing onto his side of town. I walked back to my house not wanting to go back to the party -- more like stumbled back before getting in bed. As I was closing my eyes getting ready to fall asleep I got an alert on my phone from an unknown number, I groaned before checking it [I know what you did...] read the text with an attached video of me walking away looking around in a deserted street with blood on my hands.“FUCK” I shouted before screaming.
