The face behind the flame part 4

🌌 Reborn in the 100th – Part 4: The Face Behind the Flame 🌬️🔥

---

⚔️ Scene 1: Training Gone Wrong

The training grounds echoed with sharp strikes and heavy breath.

Onsel stood firm, eyes narrowed. Kelith was growing stronger — but something inside her was boiling.

Onsel (firmly):

“You’re holding back again.”

Kelith (angrily):

“I’m not here to destroy you.”

Onsel:

“No, you’re here to learn control. But fear is still controlling you.”

She clenched her fists.

One final move — a scream of frustration —

And then—

💥 BOOM! 💥

Black fire exploded from within her.

The earth cracked. Air trembled.

Kelith rose from the ground, body surrounded by darkness, eyes glowing silver, hair lifting like fire.

> A deep, twisted voice came from her lips:

“I am not meant for rebirth… I am the storm sealed in silence…”

Onsel shielded himself with a burst of wind.

He didn’t step back. He stepped forward.

Onsel (gently):

“Breathe, Kelith.

You’re still you.”

She trembled — afraid of herself.

Kelith (whispers):

“I… didn’t mean to. It just—happened.”

Onsel reached out and placed his hand on her forehead.

Wind swirled around them, calming the fire.

The blackness faded.

She collapsed to her knees, shaken.

Onsel (softly):

“You awakened today. And you’re scared. That’s okay.

But you’re not alone.”

---

🌊 Scene 2: The Secret of the Wind

That night, silence hung heavy over the palace.

Inside his private chamber, Onsel stood before a still pond — alone.

He removed his outer robe.

Across his bare back glowed ancient symbols — unfamiliar, shifting like living ink.

A curse. A secret. A warning.

The wind around him moved unnaturally, responding to his breath like a living thing.

He stared at his reflection — no teasing grin, no laid-back posture. Just a pair of haunted eyes.

Onsel (quietly):

> “I calmed her power…

But who will calm mine?”

> “If she ever sees what I really am…

Will she still trust me?”
